The Last Chance
Lucas squinted back as he didn't know what to do and how to react at first. He knows this is not the usual way his daughter will usually speak to him. She has suddenly grown wings from nowhere.
Sophia can see her father trying so hard to read her. She smiled because she knows he won't be able to do any of that. She stood still with her eyes squinted and her lips mashed together. Donald stood by her side using his hands to support her.
Sophia shook her head as she made way to Mrs Johnson's room followed by Donald. He told her he's going to be with her every step of the way and he meant everything he said.
"So it's your call dad, you either want me to stay or leave." Sophia said and Lucas didn't dare to say anything. He can't upset her the more, she might refuse to release May and Maryann and that's going to stain the reputation of their family and that is something he can't allow.
