Kim spent the afternoon talking to Madam George. She was relieved to find out everything was okay. That day, she had wished she died. She was glad that she was shot too.

Looking back, she felt really stupid, there was enough to live for. She had to live for herself. She had to find her family and most importantly, she had to be happy. She would no longer let the opinions of irrelevant people control her life.

The first would be to cut her hair. She has had enough! She must live proudly, for her sake. Not for anybody but for herself. Those things in the past was nothing but an accident. She was not and is not a jinx. She did not cause the death of her parents and she definitely did not enjoy being abused by that man.

That those other children at the orphanage chose to bully her while the matron watched was not her fault either. That she was cast aside was all because of a misconception. Her ill fate could happen to anybody and it does not make her different.
