"You should've told me beforehand if you were going to do such a thing. Do you know how worried I was, receiving no replies from you for months?? And how did you get here? If you'd informed me, I could've picked you up. Don't tell me you traveled alone all that way here!?"
Upon setting foot into the house, the expected flurry of questions was fired at her almost immediately. One after another, the queries rained on her head without a breather.
How could she answer all of them at the same time??
"It happened unexpectedly... I couldn't inform you."
Talking her way inside the house, Doris shot a brief look at the interior. First thing first, this house sure looked neat and cozy. Her brother was living in such a place? She expected to enter a messed-up place of sorts where you'd get lost under the pile of trash on your way to the bathroom. But this... Was actually good?
