#Chapter25
Different way of doing things
Ian's POV
Another body turned up dead. The recruit was found in his bathtub, his blood filling it to the brim. But that was the least of our problems. The real one was before me.
/"Why can't we tell the students?/" The recruit asked for the hundredth time.
His hair was short and thick black. He wore the academy's jacket and the frown on his olive visage was not helping matters. I locked eyes with Albazar who sent me a shrug. He never liked explaining things to the recruits. I was always the one who did most of the talking.
/"Because it'll cause panic./" I dropped my hands on my desk.
/"Panic?/" The recruit asked, raising a brow.
/"Yes, panic./"
/"With all due respect Master Ian, I don't think you're right on this one,/" he countered. /"The students deserve to know about this./"
