Eavesdropping (Part II)

Cathy looks up to discover the vents emitting cold air. "The vents must have been repaired... Damn!" She thinks to herself.

"This still can't be a surprise to you," comments Selena as she notices Cathy looking up at the vents.

"Huh?" She replies

"The vents..." She adds

"No. They made a rattling sound and broke earlier on. I'm just surprised they're working," she says.

"Oh..." Selena says.

A spell of comfortable silence passes and moments after, Selena starts to giggle. Her giggles turn into a rupture of laughter

"What?" Asks Cathy, surprised.

"Just can't believe what you pulled back there-" she says as more laughter ruptures from her, "You toyed with old Beatrice, the maid, and made her a laughing stock," she laughs.

"I learned it from you," she says with a chuckle, "Beatrice... That's what her name is?"
