Beautiful Death

In a mansion with a sea blue flag on top of it with a water dragon symbol on it.

'ZED IS NOT DEAD?! Oh god, This is bad. Where is Cathleen did she perhaps didn't find the stone?' Claus thinks while walking around his room nervously.

The room consists of a big wide bed that looks majestic with gold decorating its edges, there are three naked girls on the bed sleeping, a big closet, and a window viewing the city streets.

Claus can't calm himself down when suddenly the door opens, "Calm down the blame will fall to Assembly of Shadow because that's how they conduct, that is if you didn't leave any clue about our involvement" said Claus' Father.

Sweat runs down from Claus' forehead, "Of course not father you don't have to worry about it".

"Either way you are on your own HAHAHA" Claus' Father laughs.

"What do you mean Father?" Claus asked but his father left him not giving him any answer.

Claus panicked, 'What did father mean? Did he ditch me? No way I am his son'. "Mathias!" Claus called out.

After a few moments, a blue hooded figure appeared.

"I don't care what it takes! Get Fabiola! Make sure today before the sun rises she already on the abandoned mansion you got that?!".

In Zed's mansion.

Cathleen screamed hysterically, Fabiola rush outside to see what's going on.

As she arrived, her face went pale.

Zed is still covered in unhealed wounds all over his body holding onto the gate.

Fabiola rushes towards Zed with tears decorating her face.

Zed felt his body is weak, He struggled to walk to the gate but his legs says otherwise. He falls to the ground weakly.

Cathleen and Fabiola support Zed before he can fall to the ground, They then brought Zed inside to help tend his wounds.

Arriving at Zed's bedroom, "What happened to you Zed? Why are you in this state?" Asked Cathleen worriedly.

"Someone *Groan* wanted me dead and *Groan* hired the Assembly of Shadow to kill me" Replied Zed while groaning due to the pain.

Cathleen is in deep thought, 'It's Claus!! This is not a part of our deal! No wonder he's shady! He used me' screamed Cathleen inside her head.

Fabiola feels complicated, She can feel that Zed is ignoring her.

"Let me get a level four healing powder that I so happened bought," said Cathleen and leaving Zed and Fabiola alone.

Healing powder is used by people to quicken their healing properties by mixing water and soak the person in need, so usually, they will eat a healing pill then soak themselves in the water mixed with healing powder.

Fabiola thought for a while and go after Cathleen to ask her about this event.

As she goes out of Zed's room she was confused, 'Why is the gate seal broken?' when suddenly she felt something behind her.

Fabiola tried to quickly chant Water Spike Flux but then everything turns dark.

Cathleen is back to Zed's room with the healing powder on her hand.

"Where is Fabiola?" asked Cathleen with a confused expression.

Zed shrugs his shoulder and proceeds to wakes up from the bed heading to the bathroom.

Cathleen prepares the water as Zed change his clothes, He opens his clothes and takes off his necklace.

As Zed opened the black box to put his necklace he was confused as there is a record stone in it, when he sees the content he was shocked and angry at the same time.

Cathleen just finished mixing the healing powder into the water as she turns around she saw Zed ruthless face staring at her.

"You did all of this? You make me hate Fabiola for your own benefit? You...Disgust me" Zed said with a disgusted look on his face, The tone of Zed voice is getting colder by the words.

"Fabiola! Where are you?!" Zed called out but he's not getting any response.

Cathleen is disgusted by herself, "I think Claus has taken her but please, believe me, I didn't know that it will be this way. I think I know the place".

Zed glance at her and said, "Lead the way! NOW!"

Meanwhile, Fabiola is taken to an abandoned mansion.

SPLASH.

Fabiola gets her conscious back because of the water, She looks around hazily and realized the place. She is tied in a chair with a water chain on both of her hands and legs, The chain stabbed into the ground rendering Fabiola can't move an inch.

Fabiola tried to break off the chains to no avail, the user who made the chains has a deeper comprehension and rank better than Fabiola.

"Wow you got an amazing body, I envy Zed HAHAHA. Little princess tell me, where did you hide the stone, We can do it the easy way or the bad way personally I liked the bad way" said Claus while taking out a short sword, Beside him is a blue hooded figure standing motionless.

Judging from the hooded figure aura, He is at least Noble Knight Rank.

Ptooey!

Fabiola spits to Claus and smiling ruthlessly, "There's no way I will tell you that, Just wait until Zed sees it"

The spit lands solid on Claus' face, The anger is swelling up inside Claus' chest.

"YOU WHORE! DO YOU THINK YOU ARE EQUAL TO US NOBLES?!" Claus screams frantically and stabs Fabiola on her palm.

"AAAKHH!" Fabiola shriek feeling her hands are stabbed, The short sword pierced through Fabiola's hand and the chair.

Claus didn't stop he slaps Fabiola on her face and punch on her guts making blood leaking out of Fabiola's cheeks and mouth.

"HAHAHA YOU WHORE! That's what a whore should do scream obediently!" said Claus crazily.

Claus pull out the knife and played the short sword on Fabiola's face, "So you ready to tell where is it? I can do this all day if you want" Claus said as he grazed Fabiola's beautiful face making it bleed a little.

As Claus play with Fabiola the door slammed open.

BAM!

Claus turned to see his back what he sees making all color on his face fade, He saw Zed with a Bloodthirst look glaring at him.

Zed feels his heart bleeds seeing Fabiola's state, The anger inside him is erupting uncontrollably.

His red-brown aura is turning into a dark black aura making the people around Zed feel suffocated, The smell of rotting flesh is enveloping the mansion forcing Cathleen to close her nose, Zed's eyes turn bright blue with a rune symbol on it.

Zed's temperament changes, He dropped his spear and shield and taking a stance that is not that of a human.

Fabiola lifts her head and saw Zed berserk state, "Zed stop it" She said with a soft voice.

ROAR!

A piercing sound was made by Zed that is closer to a monster than a human.

'I'LL KILL YOU, I'LL KILL YOU, I'LL KILL YOU' This is all that Zed can think of.

Zed pounced like a berserk beast, The hooded figure step to stop Zed going to Claus.

The hooded figure wanted to punch Zed but Zed grips the hooded figure hands, The hooded figure emotions cannot be seen through the hood but one knows that he is shocked.

Crack!, The sound of broken bones was heard.

The hooded man screamed loudly, His hands turn to mush because of Zed's grip.

Zed smiled sinisterly with his blue eyes, He grabbed the hooded figure's head and ripped it off cleanly.

This scene is gory that makes Claus peed his pants, He limp to the ground scared for his life. The chains in Fabiola's hand disappeared and Fabiola weakly slides to the ground.

"Don't worry, I will send your family soon to accompany you" Zed said with a sadistic smile on his face.

Zed's voice is different than his usual, His voice is way deeper and reverberating making Claus lose all of his hope in surviving even Cathleen and Fabiola are scared because of Zed's voice.

Zed walks slowly to Claus, His step seems to make the ground tremble, His body looks like an almighty monster in front of Claus.

The step of the incoming Zed act as a timer, the moment Zed stop is the moment Claus will die.

Step...Step...Step.

Zed is towering in front of Claus, He raises his hand and punches Claus on his face bursting through Claus' face.

After killing Claus, Zed takes Claus remains and takes a big chunk of it.

Cathleen is aghast looking at Zed who is eating Claus remains, Fabiola looks at Zed weakly with tears.

Zed stopped and glance at Cathleen with murderous eyes, Cathleen feels chill on her spine looking at Zed's eyes.

"You did this, You hurt Fabiola" After a brief of silence Zed continues, "You have to die".

Zed gets back on his feet while maintaining his eye contact with Cathleen then he pounced like a monster.

'Dear God, Forgive this soul for doing such misdeeds. Zed I should've told you how I feel, I took the wrong road to your heart instead of making you love me now you hate me so much', tears started to fall down.

'I started loving you the day you saved me even though I didn't admit it myself but I do. If only I can open up myself to you and tell you how I feel then this wouldn't happen, maybe, just maybe you will accept me as a woman but because of my wrong decision, this happened. I hurt you and Fabiola I am ashamed of myself If there is an afterlife, I hope I can make up everything that I did wrong to you' Cathleen cried in her heart because of her stupid decision.

Looking at the scene, Fabiola screamed "ZED STOP!!".

She tried to crawl desperately on the ground to stop Zed to no avail, Zed is already in front of Cathleen.

"NO!!!" Fabiola's eyes turn dark red, On her eyes emerged a flower with four petals symbol. Her eyes shot some kind of mental attack toward Zed.

Zed is hit by the mental attack, His blue eyes are dimming, the smell of rotten flesh is gone Zed is slowly coming to his senses but.

It is too late.

In front of him is Cathleen, Zed looked down to his hand.

His eyes went round, His right hand penetrates through Cathleen's abdomen.

Cathleen looks Zed on the eye and hugs him, "I'm sorry" she whispers on Zed's ears.

Zed feels the sincerity in Cathleen's words, he slumps down to the ground while hugging with his hand still penetrating Cathleen.

"No *Sob* I'm sorry,*Sob* I shouldn't ha.."

Just before Zed can finish her words Cathleen exhale her final breath.

Zed slowly lie Cathleen on the ground gently, He looks at Cathleen's face and cannot help to tear up.

"I'm sorry you didn't deserve this" Even in death, her mouth curl into a smile hearing Zed's words making her look peaceful and beautiful.
