Zane clenched his fists and stepped forward, his eyes locking onto the maniacal boy who had just ruthlessly attacked Lily. The boy's laughter echoed through the forest, sending chills down Zane's spine. He knew he couldn't let this go unanswered.
"Hey, you!" Zane called out, his voice steady. He couldn't fathom how someone could be so callous. "Pick on someone your own size."
The boy turned, his wild eyes meeting Zane's. "Oh? Another one to play with?" he sneered, his grip tightening on the oversized hammer. "This is going to be fun."
Without another word, the boy charged at Zane, swinging the massive hammer with incredible force. Zane sidestepped the attack, feeling the ground tremble as the hammer struck the earth with a resounding *CRASH*. The boy's strength was undeniable, but Zane's agility kept him just out of reach.
"You're fast," the boy taunted, raising his hammer for another swing. "But let's see how long you can keep it up."
