The third elder was trying to suppress Aru with quantity rather than quality. With the thousand ice spears, he hoped to overwhelm Aru and defeat him in the process.

The ice spears flew like lightning bolts. If a normal person was on the receiving end of the attack, his body would have turned into mangled flesh, bones and skin before finally disintegrating. 

However, unfortunately for the third elder, Aru was the one on the other side.

He stood unfazed while the spears rained down on him. 

"BOOM"

Causing a loud explosion, the ice spears fell on Aru. The explosive force generated from the impact created a small shockwave that picked up the dirt and dust throwing it into the air. 

For a second, no one could see anything.

Aru and the surrounding area were covered by the dirt and snow flying around him.

The third elder looked at it with a smirk.

He didn't see Aru dodge at all. So, he assumed Aru would be injured or even dead.
