Hidden behind a tree, Aru's eyes widened as he watched the shadow inch closer to the fish.
"What the heck is that?" he blurted out, unable to contain his astonishment.
He had never seen anything like it before. The massive form advancing toward the shore left him stunned.
As the creature approached, a giant wave formed, revealing more of its body.
With ten meters in length, its streamlined form, covered in dark olive green scales, glistened in the sunlight. The head was small compared to its elongated body. And a large dorsal fin that sliced through the water.
The creature moved with incredible speed, perfectly camouflaged in the lake's depths towards the shore.
Aru could barely recognise that it was a fish.
For a moment, Aru thought it might be a crocodile. Thankfully, it was a fish.
"Fish on land won't be that dangerous, I think," he muttered, keeping a close eye on the creature.
