Maya was 17 years old, which means she had been training since her awakening 11 years ago.

It took her eleven years to finally reach rank 2, where a warrior can use the elemental properties of their spirit.

Yet, despite all her experience, she couldn't come close to what Aru, a child who awakened just a few days ago, could do.

That's why the shaman was so surprised.

"Even if you had an affinity for the wood element, it would be impossible to achieve this without perfect control over the elements," the shaman said, approaching Aru.
