Registering wasn't complicated. Since it's something that will be valid for the wide universe, the most important thing to it was to record a wisp of their Source Energy signature followed by their name and current attainment in their Pathway.

One's Source Energy signature is unique to every Source Energy being Furthermore, the Universal Corporation has a failproof identification system that won't let anyone commit fraud by assuming someone else's identity.

And due to the ramifications of giving out their origin which can be used to attract trouble to their homeworld, the Universal Corporation doesn't need it when registering.
