Chapter 9 (Melda)

Kazuma walks outside after telling Frantasia that she should meet him outside. He feels a fresh air coming from the wind. He starts to think of his family.

Kazuma: ".... I wonder what they would say if they found out that I was destined to be the savior of this world."

Kazuma sarts to laugh rather loudly. As he laughs, Frantasia walks out of the door. She looks at him as if he were retarted. After a long laugh, Kazuma turned around and looked at Frantasia.

Kazuma: "Are you done speaking with your father".

Frantasia: "Yes. The carriage will arive by tomorrow".

Kazuma: "Why cant it be here today?"

Frantasia: "My kindom is far from this place. I takes about 2 day for a carriage to get here. Is it a problem?"

Kazuma: "No, I suppose not. Anyway, I'm going for a walk. Stay here and buy an inn. Ill be back soon".

Frantasia: "WAIT, WHY DO I HAVE TO BY THE INN!!!!"

Kazuma: "Dont ask questions. Just do it."

Frantasia: "Tsk. Bastard."

Kazuma walks off in the direction of the mountains. About 23 minutes later, he comes across two paths. One was golden and surrounded by flowers, while the other was broken, had dark trees around it and had a weird mist around it aswell.

Kazuma: "Hmmmm. I wonder which one I should pick. The golden one looks safer, but the darker one looks more interesring."

Suddenly, the bushes behind Kazuma started to shake. It made a weird and uncomfortable noice.

Kazuma: "Whos there."

An elderly woman came out. She was short and looked like she would blow away as specs of dust with just one swipe of wind.

Elderly Woman: "I see we have a curious one. My name is, Melda, Witch of the dark realm and angel of the heaven realm. They call me this because my power comes from hell, and when people die, I decide if If I want to send them to heaven or hell".

Kazuma: "So what is such a deity doing here?"

Melda: "I'm the gate keeper of these two paths. The black path is intense and full of hard trials, but in the end you will come out with great abilities. It is better than the golden path, but the golden path has good stuff too. The golden path is also full of trials. If you complete the trials, the gods will grant you with unlimited money and wings that allow you to fly above the clo-

Kazuma: "Thats enough. I already know which path I want".

Melda: "Very Well. Let us proceed".

They both walk along the dark path. It leads to a cave that is full of darkness. An ominous feeling eminated from the cave. It felt like satan himself was is there. They both entered cave. Kazuma had a serious look on his face as if every inch of him was on guard and Melda was smiling as if she was relaxed.
