Chapter 49 Abomination V/S Doomsday
Due to the sudden and horrifying destruction, the streets were left in disarray. People were frightened, crying, and running, while abandoned cars blocked the left and right sides of the road.
In the midst of this chaos, three terrifying giant monsters confronted each other. Leon stood alone, facing Hulk and Abomination at a distance on the opposite side.
As Hulk and Abomination paused, they momentarily set aside their hostility and focused their attention on a big target, Leon.
Casually, Leon nudged the car beside him, gently moving it out of the way and clearing a path behind him.
Inside the bar, not even Natasha and Barton dared to act recklessly. They lacked proper equipment and weapons, and even if they had them, they doubted that human weaponry could harm these three monsters. Even weapons designed to pierce tanks wouldn't be effective against them.
Barton wryly smiled, knowing his bow and arrow wouldn't make a difference.
"Roar," Abomination suddenly roared.
Originally General Ross's capable subordinate, Blonsky, Now Abomination was created using a super serum, similar to the one that made Captain America. However, the serum's origin was uncertain, and there were only a few remaining samples taken away after the death of its creator, including Howard.
General Ross's acquisition of the serum remained a mystery. Nevertheless, Blonsky injected himself with genes extracted from Dr. Banner's blood, turning into the grotesque monster, Abomination. While he could temporarily suppress Hulk, he lacked Hulk's ability to infinitely increase his power through anger, making him ultimately no match for Hulk.
Despite Abomination's terror and the mess on the streets, he still dared to fight Leon?
In response, Leon opened his massive arms, widened his mouth, and let out a terrifying roar: "Roar!!!!."
Abomination's roar was completely overshadowed, and Leon's roar even triggered a terrifying air cannon, washing away all the cars behind Hulk and Abomination.
To Leon, those cars were as flimsy as sheets of paper.
In the sky, General Ross watched the spectacle in shock. He had suspected that Abomination was Blonsky, but the origin of the third monster remained a mystery. Its appearance was the most terrifying, evident by Hulk and Abomination's united stance.
The situation had spiraled beyond General Ross's control, and he could only adopt a wait-and-see approach.
As the three giant monsters faced off on the street below, it was clear they wouldn't remain passive observers for long.
With time going by soon, Leon took the initiative, wielding massive fists and charging straight toward Abomination.
Hulk, who had initially planned not to ally with Abomination, remembered how Leon had previously punched him and decided to intervene. Leon plan to removed Abomination from the equation, fearing he might lose control and harm people in the bar.
Unaware of Leon's intentions, Hulk assumed this monstrous being was also a creation of the same incident as them, prompting him to feel a sense of responsibility and join the fray.
Thus, the three monsters clashed in a fierce battle.
"Boom, boom, boom." The thunderous sound echoed through the air as the colossal monsters exchanged blows, resembling a never-ending series of explosions.
However, unlike before, the fight was contained in a limited area, unlike Abomination's previous attacks that sent Hulk soaring into the sky, causing massive destruction to nearby buildings.
This was thanks to Leon, who was cautiously controlling his power while defending against Hulk and Abomination's onslaughts, so as not to inadvertently annihilate them with a single strike. He wasn't fighting, he was reveling in it.
"Hahaha!" Leon laughed joyfully. "This is what a real challenge feels like."
Only a monster of this caliber could provide him with such a thrilling and enjoyable battle. Compared to this, the previous encounter with Iron Monger felt like child's play, as Leon effortlessly tore the metallic foe to shreds.
"Roar!" Abomination's rage was provoked by Leon's nonchalance attitude. He angrily swung his massive fist, trying to reach Leon's face, but with Leon's towering height, Abomination could barely reach him.
Previously, when Abomination and Hulk attacked Leon's chest, he easily withstood their blows without flinching due to his immense strength. But this time, being punched in the face was not something Leon could tolerate.
His smile vanished, replaced by cold, intense eyes filled with murderous intent. He raised his hand and prepared to retaliate against Hulk, but with a swift motion, he sent Hulk flying away with tremendous force, covering dozens of kilometers in mere moments, taking the battle far outside the city.
Now, only Abomination remained in front of Leon. Without hesitation, Leon grabbed the arm, Abomination had used to strike him on the face and snapped it forcefully, breaking the bones from wrist to shoulder, reducing it to a pulp.
"Ow!" Abomination couldn't help but cry out in pain.
Seizing the opportunity, Leon then grabbed Abomination's neck and slammed him hard into the ground, causing the half of New York City to tremble as though an earthquake had struck. This impact surpassed the previous skirmish between Abomination and Hulk, which had affected only Manhattan.
The battle wasn't over yet; Leon made sure Abomination was still breathing, demonstrating his control over life and death. Leon looked down at the injured monster with disdain in his cold eyes.
"In my entire life, I've never been punched in the face, and now you made me endure it," taunted Leon. With that, he exposed the bone spikes on his elbow and menacingly pressed them against Abomination's chest.
Abomination, left with only one functional hand, struggled desperately, that Leon's thorns could easily pierce his skin, a formidable weapon capable of penetrating even Superman's steel-like body. Abomination's life was hanging by a thread, and he fought with all his might to survive.
However, Leon's strength was unstoppable. Little by little, he gradually opened Abomination's chest, exposing his heart. Abomination's eyes widened, knowing his end was near.
The one sided battle continued, as Leon grabbed Abomination's head and fly into the sky, flying towards General Ross plan.
"Is this your little toy?" Leon sarcastically inquired, referring to Abomination.
