In the peak of a mountain, the view was quite interesting for Oscar, as he always come there to spend his free time. He was a fifteen years old orphan who've never seen his dad, his mum vanished when he was only five years old and the only memory he had of her was a bronze pendant.

Before his days of an orphan, He lived a good life with his mum, his mother was very rich and highly respected, from time to time people often visited them gifting him with several items such as gold's, silvers and so on.

But every thing changed when his mother disappeared, he was abandoned by all those who he thought might help him, he found his way to an orphanage after all his inheritance was taken away from him.

It's been ten years since then and Oscar had blended in with the environment of the orphanage, but still he was never really satisfied of how everything was and comes to the mountains were he found peace every day.

Just then Oscar let out a soft sigh as he stood up looking at the sky. "It's late I should get going." Oscar said in a low tone as he turned to leave but just then he was faced with terror, he saw a blue furred cat, it had sparkling whiskers as lightning trails could be seen on the body of the 4ft tall and 7ft long cat.

"I thought they said this mountains is a safe zone from monsters, how did this thing get in here, from it's appearance I bet it's a lightning elemental beast." Oscar thought to himself as he stood still.

Oscar was a smart kid, even though he had no fighting abilities, he knew that panicking in a situation like this would not be helpful and would only make his death come quickly.

Just as Oscar was starring at it, their eyes crossed path as Oscar felt a soothing feeling from the cat. "For some reasons, I don't know why, but this beast has no killing intent." Oscar started analysing everything, but after few minutes Oscar finally decided to run downwards after seeing that the cat did not attack.

"Wait kid!" Oscar heard a voice from the cat as he paused on his tracks. "Did the cat just speak to me." Oscar thought to himself as he heard it's voice again. "Yes, don't fear, I won't hurt you, my name is Raijin I'm one of the last of my species, The thunder cat has been in war with the fire cat for centuries all for this, the beat king ring." The cat said as a golden ring appeared front of Oscar floating in the air.

"What is this ring" Oscar after gathering courage asked. "It seems I was right about you, you have a strong heart, this ring is the core of the beast king, one of the entities that surpassed the limits of this world, She died and before that gave the thunder and fire cat her core as a symbol of our royal blood.

We thunder cat have treated the core like a treasure and priceless artifact but the leader of the fire cat wants to use it for himself as a weapon to break the limits of his evolution, you see the thunder cat has a final evolution which is known as lighting cat only me and two others have reached that level.

On the other hand the fire cat has its legends that there is an extra evolution in their race known as the inferno cat, but none of their current generation was able to achieve that form, so their leader wants to use the beast king ring to evolve.

With that a war broke between our two race, for centuries we've fought each other, we thunder cats are stronger but they have the advantage of numbers, and out of desperation their leader performed a forbidden ritual absorbing the souls of all the fire cats who have died on the war to become so strong that he was able to beat and almost killed me, the thunder cat is on its verge of complete extinction and With that the core won't be safe with them if I die and I only have few years to live, but I plan on ending my life here by strengthening your soul to be able to keep the ring. Would you help?" Raijin asked with a weak voice.

"But, why me, and what do you mean by end your life by strengthening my soul?" Oscar asked in confusion. "As you know, all beings in this world have mana also known as soul energy, with that one can perform magic or do other extraordinary things, but only humans can't evolve in exchange they get something know as Soul awakening, with that they're awakened to become more powerful, but not all humans can awaken and they each have different stage of awakening." Raijin said

"So, you mean you're going to use your life to make me awaken?" Oscar asked. "Yes, not just awaken but also make your awakening a powerful one, would you take on the role of the guardian of the beast king ring." Volt asked. "Well, it would be foolish for me not to accept your offer, so alright I'll do it." Oscar said with a smile.

"Guard it with your life, do not let the fore cats get their hand on it, his motive is beyond evolution it is something more. Remember no one must know about the ring!!!!" Raijin said as his whole body illuminated with purple lightning, a lightning bolt shot at Oscar entering into his chest after that there was nothing left but the core of the beat floating in the air.

Oscar passed out as he fell on the ground while clenching his fist tightly with the ring inside.
