Chapter 26: Change in Nature.

A year ago, when he decided to officially start training in ninjutsu, he tested his chakra attributes.

Very fortunately, he possessed three different chakra attributes: Fire, Lightning, and Wind, all of which are notoriously powerful offensively and difficult to control.

The Fire and Lightning attributes likely came from his father, while the Wind attribute, according to Uchiha Mikasa, came from his mother. His mother was one of the few in the Uchiha clan whose attribute was not Fire. He perfectly inherited the excellent genes of both his parents.

Considering the sequence of Konoha's battles in the Third Ninja World War—with the Land of Wind first, then the Land of Earth, the Land of Lightning, and finally the Land of Water—he decided to train the Fire attribute first, followed by Lightning, and then Wind. Fire counters Wind, Lightning counters Earth, and Wind counters Lightning.

He did not underestimate the importance of attribute interactions, despite their lack of extensive depiction in the TV anime. Did Konoha dominate the Hidden Sand Village merely due to simple economic suppression? Why did Onoki of the Twin Scales have to ambush the Hidden Cloud Village? Why did the Second Tsuchikage and Second Mizukage perish together? There were always factors of attribute interactions among the hidden villages.

Just like in the original work, Deidara was defeated by Uchiha Sasuke due to attribute disadvantage, a very clear example.

Conveniently, Uchiha Toshiro's family had detailed methods for training the nature and form changes of these three attributes.

As for the Yin and Yang attributes, those would take time. According to the data he had collected and researched, those two attributes were much more difficult compared to the five basic attributes and required different physical and mental conditions for a ninja.

In his plan, he would slowly approach and attempt them after another couple of years when he could create more shadow clones.

Opening the fridge, he took out a large lunch box. This was the lunch bento prepared for him by Uchiha Mikasa. Since there were no such 'high-tech' gadgets as microwaves to easily heat it, he wasn't in a hurry.

He put his hands together, placing them on both sides of the lunch box. After a moment, a faint blue chakra glowed, and soon, a subtle steam emerged from the lunch box. This was the result of his recent chakra nature change training.

It was quite simple, similar to the training for the Wind attribute nature change. One would heat a basin of water using chakra until it boiled intensely. Later stages increased the volume of water to raise the temperatures for using Fire Release techniques.

Of course, there were other related training methods such as smoke, explosion, and impact force. Each chakra attribute had different nature changes. For instance, Water could involve high pressure, oil, or glue, while Earth could involve viscosity, hardness, and gravity.

Eating the delicious lunch in his hands, Uchiha Toshiro suddenly felt a sense of being pampered and wondered if it was embarrassing for a transmigrator like him.

Meanwhile, in Konoha Village, in the aesthetically perplexing Hokage building at the village center, crisp sounds of high heels tapping on wooden floors echoed through the hallway outside the Hokage's office.

With a loud "bang," the door of the Hokage's office was violently flung open, and a dazzling figure burst into the office.

With long, smooth blonde hair draped over her back, the ends tied into two ponytails, fair and smooth skin, golden willow-like brows beneath which a pair of light brown watery eyes sparkled with radiance, a high nose bridge, lightly pursed flower-like lips, and a pale blue diamond-shaped mark between the brows, she was strikingly beautiful.

Most prominent of all was her magnificent bosom, so prominent that even the seasoned Third Hokage, who had mastered the Telescope Technique, would subconsciously glance and then sternly reprimand himself.

Without replying, and disregarding her improper entry into the Hokage's office without knocking, she paid no mind at all. The Hokage's office was exceedingly familiar to her. She knew well the current owner, Hiruzen Sarutobi, and the First and Second Hokages in the photographs on the wall, having spent much of her childhood in this place.

Ignoring her teacher's reprimand, the blonde woman who entered looked at the Third Hokage with disdain.

"Ahem! What brings you here, Tsunade?" asked the Third Hokage, coughing to hide his guilt and quickly changing the topic to divert attention.

Fully aware of her teacher's true nature, she didn't mind and rolled her eyes as she stated her purpose for visiting the Hokage's office today.

"Have you read the clinical trial report on the new hemostatic special drug submitted by Medical Special Jonin Uchiha Mikasa? What are your thoughts on the suggestion to include it in the standard medical supplies for ninjas?"

She straightforwardly inquired, not beating around the bush. This was the purpose of her visit to the Hokage's office.

"Uchiha Mikasa's newly developed special hemostatic drug?" the Third Hokage muttered to himself, simultaneously glancing at a document on his table. 

He knew about the new drug when Uchiha Mikasa applied for clinical trials. Initially, he didn't regard it as a big issue, assuming it was merely the Uchiha clan's gesture to show support for the village's current medical reforms.

However, events had exceeded his expectations. Uchiha Mikasa's final 'surprise' was much greater than anticipated.

Looking at the collected experimental report in his hand.

The hemostatic effect exceeded the current wound medicine's effectiveness by six times, the healing speed doubled, and the anti-infection rate significantly surpassed that of the current wound medicine. Importantly, the cost was only twice that of current wound medicine. 

Didn't Konoha have similar efficacy medicines? Yes, but those were secret recipes of various major families and were prohibitively expensive.

With such an excellent and near 'perfect' drug, its benefit to injured ninjas was immeasurable. Promoting it would significantly reduce the casualty rates of Konoha ninjas.
