Eric hates seeing Seraphine so frightened.

That leaves him no choice. He has to understand that she is still not ready – since he has devoted himself to making her happy, he has to. Unless he finds out that this dark magic of hers will put her in danger if she is to keep quiet about it, he will not force her to say it.  

'It'll be fine. I already have Merlin as my source of information, anyway. I'll learn more about this dark magic of hers without telling him anything about who she is and where he can find her. Though this may seem like I'm doing things behind her back, I'll have to do it, anyway. Then again, I need to keep him in check and make sure that he's not going to find out too much…' he pondered over, keeping an enigmatic look all the while. 

'I can protect her from any danger and learn more about her all at the same time. It'll be hitting two birds with one stone.'
