Life and Death

Ezrahl seemed to be adorned with darkness, his pale face dimly lit under the soft light while a black cloak followed his every step with an imposing air. He was tall and appeared no different than what Nesrin had seen in that strange vision.

He looked a little older than her and Izekiel, and his inky black hair and stormy gray eyes made his features sharp.

"It's been a while," he says with a welcoming smile as if he hadn't threatened Nesrin a few moments ago.

She warily watched him, and her gaze remained firm despite her wavering heart but when even the shadows seemed to shift around him as if the darkness both loathed and desired him, Nesrin was no longer sure what to believe in or how to feel.

The way he carried darkness was much different than Izekiel.
