Izekiel glanced at her, there was a strange devilish smirk that curled his lips.
"About your proposal, I will think about it."
Nesrin froze and immediately looked at him. There was slight redness upon her face. Her proposal? Did he really mean that he would consider taking another consort?
A small part of her was even hurt from his reply.
"Do you not want it?"
Izekiel asked with a puzzled expression.
Nesrin shook her head and let out a nervous laugh. She tried her best to smile convincingly.
"No, I was just astonished. I hope his majesty makes his decision soon."
"Sure."
Izekiel averted his gaze in front of him.
The runes hovered above the stone gates, their cerulean light flickered violently as if they wanted to go inside.
Nesrin's smile faded and her fingers were firmly curled around the reigns as she watched the stone carvings.
