"No way!" Jun Mochan immediately refused without a second thought.
"So stingy," muttered Song Yue.
Swinging her legs, she sat on a stone not far from Jun Mochan, "Are you planning to build a boat? Who knows when you'll eventually get to leave."
"Seven days at most." Jun Mochan replied without even lifting his head.
"How is that possible?" Song Yue was convinced he was delusional. Why else would he say such a thing?
Jun Mochan chose to ignore her once again.
Despite Song Yue's self-embarrassment, she decided not to leave, curious to see how Jun Mochan would build a boat in just seven days.
It wasn't until it became too dark to see that Jun Mochan finally started heading back.
The path back was one that Jun Mochan had already mastered, with every pebble along the way etched firmly in his mind.
So even without a light, he wasn't scared.
While Song Yue might not have known the path as well as Jun Mochan, she could still navigate it without tripping over anything.
