"What the hell is going on?"

"Someone set out to sea?"

"Without even waiting for me?"

"I can't even get through on the phone... is this some sort of disappearance act?"

Standing on the edge of a cliff by the sea, staring into the vast blue waters, Ling Fei bit her lip, furrowing her brows in frustration.

A dark figure slowly approached from not far away.

As it got closer, the figure standing there seemed to be startled when he saw her, half-squinting, with a smirk as he observed Ling Fei.

"Miss Ling, who would've thought that we are truly fated, running into each other wherever we go!" The deep voice was laced with a hint of teasing.

Ling Fei shot him a quick glance, her face tense.

She'd run into Feng Xiao here of all places!

Can't a person have a good time anymore!

However, when Ling Fei saw Feng Xiao, he hadn't seen her. And when he did notice her, the momentary surprise in his eyes was clear to Ling Fei.
