The girls turn to the dragon, "Let begin, my name is Drago, and what would be yours?" Amaris and Alina looked at each other then back at Drago, Amaris spoke first then Alina giving their names to Drago. "Well Amaris, Alina, have you ever saw someone do a flying spell before?" Alina spoke first, "There was this time when the elder tried to stop Amaris from walking out the, and she held Amaris in the air. Is that a sort of flying spell?" Drago looked at Alina, "No, that was a levitation spell, it is a low-level spell and take no time to master. The teleportation spell you just did is a high-level spell." Drago paused, "You are the one from a different world, right?" Alina answered, "Yes, is everyone going to be able to tell that I am from a different word?" "No, the more you learn of this world, the more you are going to know. Then when you have learned all you can, people will start to see you as one of them." Alina looked at Amaris then back to Drago, "You said that we will be traveling around visiting the other race, I am from another world, so I see no problem in it, but Amaris is from this world." Amaris shimmed in, "I may be from here, but that doesn't mean that I haven't traveled before," Amaris looks to Alina, "My family goes on a trip every year, so this is just another trip. I will just tell my family I am going on a trip with you, they will understand, you already met them." Amaris looked back at Drago.
"Now then, Alina because you are new to magic, I want you to know, magic is all about visualization. If you want something to happen, you have to imagine it." Alina though for a little bit, then came to a conclusion. Alina looked at Drago, "Can I try something?" Drago was a little confused, but nodded his head anyways. Alina stood in her spot as still as she could be, then really fast, Alina turned around, and started to run as fast as she could, and before she knew it, she was flying. She flew over to Drago, "I did it, look, I did it!" Alina gave a little twirl in the air. Amaris looked at Alina, "How did you learn it so fast?" Alina was so happy, she could final explain something to Amaris, "Back in my world, I use to run through fields. People that saw me, would say that I looked just like a cloud, and if magic is all about visualization, then all I have to do is look at myself as a cloud. Then this happened," Alina gave another twirl. Amaris looked at Alina, "I don't think I can envision that," Amaris looked down to the ground. Alina flowed down as she though, then it came to her, "You may not be a cloud, but you are much bigger." Amaris looked at Alina, and put one hand on her hip, "Yeah, and how's that?" Alina pointed up, "You are the sky itself when the sun falls. The dark sky that blanks the stars and people, even a cloud is pale in comparison." Alina smiled and so did Amaris. Amaris closed her eye, and though of herself as the nigh sky. Then soon enough even Amaris was flying.
"Good job, now, know that you must visualize before you cast any spell." Alina walked back to stand beside Amaris as Drago continued talking, "Now to help you use weather as a tool to help you. Remember, before you can cast any spell you must visualize." Alina though of snow and Amaris though of summer, Drago watched the two girls carefully. Above Alina formed a cloud and from the cloud came snow, but the snow that was close to Amaris was melting as fast as it was coming. Drago smiled at their quick progress, "Now open your eyes." The girls open their eye, all around Alina was snow, but Amaris feeling disappointed nothing happened, "Do not be sad young one look at your feet." Amaris looked at her feet, "What did I make it rain?" "No, what happens to snow when it gets hot?" At the sudden realization a smiled appeared on Amaris's face, it did just what she wanted.
Drago looked at the two girls, "I have taught you all you can learn from me, now go, find the other races, and begin your journey." Alina and Amaris both smiled, "And do not forget girls," Drago spoke to them one last time, "If you do not practice your skills every day you might find out, they will not come to you when you need them most." Alina and Amaris head back through the dry land to Amaris's house, "I just need to pick up a few things before we leave." Alina and Amaris had just received their first lesson, but their journey had just begun.
