Rumors Are Bond To Follow...

Looking at both of them with a wronged expression she starred wailing, as if drowning in sorrow, "Lu Xinyi, W..Why are you saying like that? I.. I understand you are upset from me that I denied to s..seduce B..Big Brother Li so he will leave you but please don't be angry on me? I...I even helped you to run to elope with the man you love."

As she started wailing people attention drew to the group, everyone who looked projected shocked expressions and started looking at Lei Xinyi with contempt.

Even the expressions of duo beside her weren't any better.

Who didn't know who she was referring as 'Big Brother Li'. Realizing that the eldest of the Li Brothers was Lu Xinyi's fiancé, Lei Xinyi really wondered if the Lu Xinyi was dropped as a baby. The man was a whole package!

Lei Xinyi looked at her with a confused expression then asked with raised brows, "You mean to say that I..."

Pointing a finger at her chest, "Asked you to seduce my soon-to-be husband?"

"Y..Yes! You sai…." Looking as the crowd now started giving her strange looks her cheeks reddened further.

That was an obvious kind of thing no woman would want any other woman seducing her man.

Lei Xinyi looked at Shen Chen with a shocked expression then her expression turned from hurt to betrayal.

She then threw her hands in the air, "Inanely absurd!" The looking at her with disgust, she got down from her seat.

She was taller than Shen Chen so she towered over her then pointing a finger at her and spat, "SHEN CHEN! I never knew you had such ideas toward my fiancé but no matter how fragile or pushover I am known as. You should never underestimate the wrath of a infuriated woman!" She ended with tears in her eyes.

Everyone looked at Shen Chen with utter disgust thinking of her as the third party including Li Qiang and Su Zhinan.

As Lei Xinyi saw that from the corner of her eyes, she inwardly released a sigh of relief. 'Good going a little more and I can escape!'

"Y..You…As..Asked…m..me" Shen Chen was shaking and stuttering, definitely she was stunned by how every thing turned out.

Lei slightly felt bad for her. Code word slightly.

However Lei Xinyi never meant to humiliate Shen Chen but the woman was hell bent to destroy her reputation, definitely she didn't expect it to become her own humiliation.

Though it was Lu Xinyi whose name was getting tarnished but since she is using her identity she decided to do her some good.

Just then a man who was most likely her manager stepped forward. Even he was surprised himself by Lei Xinyi's reaction but he knew how to recover quickly.

"Miss Lu, you seem to be misunderstanding the situation. All Shen Chen was trying to do was ask about your whereabouts because you haven't been seen in the circle for a long time since you didn't show up on your date with your 'fiancé' so just so you know rumors are bound to follow please don't take it your heart. She didn't mean harm."

'Of course everyone knew about that in the circle because this marriage was like an business contract.' Lei Xinyi inwardly rolled her eyes.

Then Lei Xinyi gritted her teeth inwardly; she was going to escape but this man! He was a clever man, he knew exactly how to divert the conversation.

At once Lei Xinyi knew looking at the man that he wasn't easy to deal with like the spoilt woman beside him.

Lei xinyi glared at the tall man but then her tears eventually exploded then she gave a sarcastic laugh then looked at Shen Chen and the her manager with anger and disgust.

Then said with a heavy voice, "Rumors are bond to follow, Huh!..... Rumors! Did you hear any rumor like; Lu Xinyi was sick and bedridden from high fever so she couldn't attend her first date or something like she was having emotional breakdown from last three weeks. You didn't!..... Did you?"

Then looking at everyone with a scorned expression, like she was wronged, who were already stupefied by the revelation.

She pointed a finger at Shen Chen and the man beside her and hissed, "I feel disgusted to call you my friend!"

Then to add more effect to her act, she threw the drink on Shen Chen as she shrieked with shock Lei Xinyi added, "I..I called you my friend but you..You thought to steal away my fiancé I love so much!"

Then she burst out crying, Li Qiang and Su Zhinan who were stunned stepped forward with stern expressions before the manager could say something.

Li Qiang looking at the emotional state Lu Xinyi was in and he cut him off, "Mr. That's enough! You should leave before I am forced to throw you out, which is what I and you both don't want. I hope you realize the inconvenience you have caused."

He opened his mouth to say something but then listening to the suppressed warning shut his mouth then pursed his lips and left with Shen Chen who was shaking from crying.
