Chapter 5

"I understand your shock most of my clients have the same reaction" he explained.

" Okay . So can we start the meeting cause I need to leave by 2:30 pm ."

" No problems"

Lucian led Sera to a conference room which had the section heads . They had only been negotiating for an hour when Sera's phone rang . She excused herself.

' I wonder what the emergency is ? ' she thought to herself because it's her second phone that rang.

" Hello, what happened? " she asked anxiously

" Boss you need to come back to the company" said the voice " One of our latest device has been stolen and the CCTV cameras are damaged"

" What" shouted Sera in shock " I'll be there in the next 30 minutes.

She rushed back into the office and informed them that she needed to go and the meeting would be concluded tomorrow.

As she rushed out again she heard a Lucian's voice.

" Sera please wait"

Sera halted in her steps and turned back to look at him.

" Please may I have your number, so I will be able to connect you later" Lucian asked shyly.

Sera hurriedly brought out her purse and handed him her business card , bid him goodbye and turned on her heels and rushed towards the elevator. As soon as she got to the reception she remembered Sam , so she wrote a letter to him and told the receptionist to pass it to him.

She ran into the parking lot and located her car , she entered it and started the ignition.

When she had almost reached the company she put a call through to Nikita.

" Babe could you please do me a favour and call the rest to meet me at the company"

" Sure no problems. But where are you right now? "

" I'm almost at the company, why?"

" Nothing. We will be there in less than an hour"

" Okay thanks dear. You are a life saver"

At Sera's Company

As she entered she finally breathed a sigh of relief seeing that everything was going on well. She got into her private elevator and pressed the screen indicating the floor she is going to.

Sera rushed into her office then changed into more comfortable clothing. She wore a baggy top with joggers and she changed from her sneakers into palm slippers. She wore her anti blue light glasses , carried her laptop and phone then went to the head security room, which only few workers know about .
