Chapter 1: leading up to the unforseen tragedy
"Two Student's of Saint Austin Junior- High School and a student of Hummington High stabbed to death, the murders have been arrested. The Student's have been Identified as 17 years old Miguel Anderson, 17 years old Christoph Thomas and 16 years old Lora McIntosh...."
"Two days before"
It's the 4th of September the start of a new school year...
A bright morning where the sun peeks through the curtains and the light shines on his eyes making him turn his body to face the other direction. Then suddenly the alarm goes off "beep beep beep" he reach out and turn it off. He springs out of bed motivated and excited for the new school year. "Good morning mother." "Good morning Chris, the breakfast is on the table, I have to leave for work early so I will be heading out before you". "Have a great day mom". She left for work with Christoph leaving for school shortly after...
With almost a similar settings except he wakes up feeling sad that the summer break is over already. He drags himself out of bed feeling unmotivated and not excited for school but the joy of seeing his bestfriend again made him want to go...
"1 hour later"
"Yo Miguel" shouted at a distance. He kept walking...then suddenly someone slaps him in his back so hard that it echoes. *groans* "ouch tha- that HURTS he said"."What sup Miguel you didn't hear me calling you?" Clearly I didn't bro like damn that hurts". They entered school, the two bestfriends reunite yet another school year. Couple hours pass and it was now lunch time. Christoph and Miguel meet up in the cafeteria to eat their lunch, while eating their lunch they talk about how they spent their summer holidays and what they did."I went to the country's to spend time with my mom parents. My cousins live there, Brad, Chester and Alex they are around the same age group as us, so i spend most of my time playing with them and also went to a near by river to swim and catch fish. It was amazing. What did you do?" Christoph asked. " Living with just my Aunt, which is busy 24/7 we didn't get to spend much time together. She was always at working and when she's not working she is at home tired...so I spent my time mostly playing video games,, reading manga and watching anime". "ding dong" the bell rang lunch time is finish and they head to their class. Time flew by, the first day of school has come to an end. Christoph decided to go into the main town to shopping and ask Miguel to accompany him. They went into the town. While shopping they saw some girls from Hummington High, it's an all girls school. "They look beautiful" said Miguel. "Ohhh said Christoph with a cheeky grin, which one do you find most attractive?" "She...the short one with the pink bag and she has short blonde hair like wow so beautiful". "Go say Hi" Christoph quickly said. Which Miguel quickly replied with a serious look on his face saying "No way, I would get rejected in an instant, am not letting that happen to me on the first day of school and he then walks away". "Hmph... scaredy cat ha ha ha" Christoph taunt him and then laugh. After finish shopping they're on their way heading home.
On there way home Miguel glimpse a pink bag at the entrance of an alley."Doesn't that bag looks familiar Chris?" ask Miguel." hmm yes, lemme see it looks likes that girl you like bag, wonder what it's doing infront of an alley on the ground like that"."I don't like her, just thought that she was really beautifu- beyond the point I am also wondering that too, let's go check it out". With that being said they went over the alley to check it out. Christoph reach over and take up the bag then they both step foot in the dark alley not knowing that this would be the cause of their death. After entering the alley they gaze upon an unsightly scene, it was two grown adult men dressed in black with a balaclava mask on raping the girl they saw at the store not too long ago. On impulse they both rush to save her not knowing if the men dressed in black is armed or not. Christoph throw his bag at them as a distraction while Miguel jump in and kick one of the man, with them being distracted the girl got enough room to release herself from the clutches of the man and push him off of her then try to run. The man pulls out a knife and stabs her in the leg, she screams out in agony. Christoph sees a piece of iron pipe on the ground and use it to hit the man on his arm causing him to pull the knife out. The men started to retaliate gaining the advantage over them. Miguel told Chris to run with the girl while he tries to hold them off. "Chris listen closely I have a idea and I want you to go along with without making a fuss. I want you to take the girl and run Chris, I will hold them off". "WHAT!?" I said Run! Chris! it's our only chance of getting away! Take the girl and RUN!! At first Chris was highly against leaving his bestfriend behind but Miguel plead to him telling him it's their only chance of getting away. Chris grabs the girl that is limping, holding her leg in pain and is crying in an attempt to escape but the men were determined not to let them get away. The men in black made quick work of Miguel, cutting his throat and stabbing him multiple times in the abdomen. They then begin their hunt of Christoph and the girl who had made an escape in a near by broken down apartment. "Do yo-yo-you think they w-wi-will find us h-here" she ask crying in fear of her life breathing heavily. "I don't think so" he replied clenching his fist holding back tears imagining the thought that he might have lost his bestfriend. Tracing the blood trail of the injured girl they found them effortlessly. "Look what we have here...if it isn't the brat and the little rabbit that escape my clutches" said one of the man. "You really think that you could escape us...Big mistake!" the next man said and then they deliver multiple cutting wounds and stabbing wounds resulting in the brutal murder of them both.
Couple minutes after their death a bright flash of light appeared out of nowhere, giving way to a new beginning.
Moments later their eyes were open to an unfamiliar....
