Chapter 116: Feeding Koi and Temptation

Hayden’s POV

“Hello,” I called out as I entered the main area of the garden. The sounds of the pond echoed along with my voice as I called out to the figure standing there. “I knew I’d find you here, Rhett said you often like to come here during the late afternoon.”

Eleonore’s body turned to me as she recognized my voice, and a wide smile that made my heart speed up overtook her face. I smiled at her as her bright one smiled back at me, and walked up to her as she stood in front of the pond.

She must have been admiring the koi fish for some time now, most of them were no longer splashing about the surface close to her as they usually did when they expected food.

“Do you want to feed them?” I looked at her in question, and watched as her eyes widened in excitement for a moment before she began to vigorously nod her head. I laughed lightly at her reaction before walking over to the small bird cabin we had stationed in the further corner of the center of the garden.
