CHAPTER 7

"Ms. Stanford… Please inform all the students from Junior Years at the same time with the Senior years about our upcoming acquaintance party at the end of the month. As your adviser, we'll hold a meeting later after school with the RU Council only since it's a school event for the upcoming event and also let the president of each class to be with us later as their opinions are needed too. All the members of the council and presidents were needed for the meeting and need to participate for the event, as it will be included in your yearly achievement. Let all of them gather later after school in the council office. I will prepare all the needed infos now for the upcoming meeting and will discuss later. Oh.. tell Mr. Smith and Ms. Gonzales to prepare an announcement poster for this event." RU Council's adviser, Miss Gleizel Perez said with a genuine smile.

Ahhhh first event of the year…damn!

I smiled and say, "As always miss. It's noted. Thank you."

"Thank you for your time. I gladly appreciate it. Thank you. You may go now." She replied with a smile.

"Thank you too, miss. I'll head back now. Thank you." I said and immediately head back to the classroom since its almost time for the class.

Miss Perez was kind and good adviser of the council for almost 3 years now since on the first day I was elected as the president of the council. I became the president of RU's council for 3 years in a row now… since the students agreed with the proposal that the teachers propose on them 2 years ago. And now on my third year as a president, the upcoming acquaintance party was the first event the council and mine to be handled with. By now handling events was not that hard as before since I've been doing this for 2 years. But what's more challenging is that… I become president of the SHS council too as the principal of RU imposed me to be the senior years president last year after the seniors graduated. And this year was my second year as the SHS president, seems like the teachers expect too much on me for imposing me to be both presidents of the council as they entrusted me a bigger responsibility in school. And I can't complain about it in two reasons: first because of the principal, second because it became a good thing for me too for the past years. So here I am being a good but strict president of both council without flaws.

As I was approaching to our floor, I met a junior member of the council and called him. Van was a grade 8 representative of his batch and most likely the most active among others. I told him about the meeting later and told him to spread it among the council's members and representatives in JHS and also to the presidents of each junior year classes. I head up to our floor and directly went to our classroom as I decided to gather the senior high's members later at break for the announcement.

When I entered the room, not just a few seconds our teacher Miss Lopez entered too. I greeted her and directly went to my table as the teacher started her introduction and little announcement for the do's and don'ts of her class and got dismissed after.

I stood up and went to the center after the teacher went out as I will announce the important matter. My squad wondered on my actions by now except Wood who probably knew what was this about. "Guys….Class A…all attention please..." I started and look at them. They stop on what they're doing and listen. "Class A listen…All the council members and the president in this class will gather in the SHS Lounge during break for an announcement regarding on the first event of the year. That's all thank you." I announced and went back to my seat.

"Yes."

"Wahhhhhh first…."

"Really? At this month? Gosh!"

"Damn! This will be fun!"

They exclaimed in unison after the announcement. Gosh! These guys…

"Sally… go with Faye, and inform the Class A's president and call the other council members and representatives about the gathering in the SHS Lounge today. Thank you." I ordered and smiled. They both thumbs up and excitedly went out to inform others. Tch. Those two really… gosh! What's with my council this year?

"Tch. You really doing your responsibilities ha? Tch. You're really perfect for that role Lez. Hahaahah.." Wood said in a teasing tone. What the?! Is he expecting to be free to all? Tch. On his dreams...

"Ahhh… you're telling me that I'm perfect to the role? Well I'll agree with that…since I'm the perfect person to let the person under me suffer the whole process… right, MR. VICE PRESIDENT?" I sarcastically said as my eyebrows raised and smirked at him.

"WHAT THE?! That's so unfair! Why always me? Dammit!" He exclaimed and complained.

"Do you have a problem with that? Tch. Stop me Wood. You've been vice president of the council for three years and still complaining? You're unbelievable..."

"Tch. If it's not for you, I'll be not in that position. And worst to suffer every event… Damn!"

Wood just nonstop complaining in front of me… he really is. Tch. He's a man who can't even break his responsibilities after complaining that much… Hahahaha he's truly unbelievable.

"Wait..w-WAIT…"

I turned back on where the voice was… It was Kie. What's with her? What's with their expressions? Seems like they hear something unbelievable? Wait… don't tell me.. it's about this?

"YOU'VE BEEN PRESIDENT HERE? LIKE A WHOLE DAMN PRESIDENT NOT IN THE CLASSROOM BUT IN THE WHOLE CAMPUS?! HA! That's really unbelievable and impossible! You--? Really Lez?" Kie exclaimed in surprise that literally surprised the whole me.

"What the! Where were you when I was announced as president of the council again last year? Damn! All of you are unbelievable! Like the whole campus known me as the council president and you---the rest of you, really doesn't have any idea with it? Hahahahaha damn!" I exclaimed in surprise and shook my head. Tch. They're unbelievable.

"Oh gosh! Did I hear it right? Damn! Lez. What's with your friends? I was really amazed on how they avoid the very news about you elected on that position. Gosh! Hahahaha" Macreme laughingly said who can't believe of what she heard about from my friends. Even me can't believe it too.

"N-no.. I-its not that. You know it was like timing. Because every time you are doing events like this... we're not around in the school. You know that too Lez... Tch. Don't make fun of this... it's just timing. Okay? Damn!" Kiara explained embarrassed in front of us as all of attention was on them.

"Okay okay fine. Hahahahah I'm not questioning okay? Plus, Wood is my vice president of the council too. Hahahaaha I bet you don't know this too? Hahahaha gosh are we that good in hiding or just time doesn't want them to know to have these reactions? hahahah damn.. Wood hahahaa let's talk with this later. Hahahaahaha" Laughingly unbelievably I said and shook my head.

Macreme and the others just laugh at the same time shook their heads for the unbelievably news they've heard today. Tch. For the whole damn year... they didn't know it even once? Damn the time is so cruel indeed. Then Kie, Ben, Ram and the others just head down because they've embarrassed while Kiara and Ken just raised their eyebrows as if to hide their embarrassment with that look. But then after all that laughs, a sudden silent and serious change that back after hearing words that makes the quadros uncomfortable.

O ow… I think this will have a misunderstanding again… dammit!

"So, you became vice president here with that personality of yours? Really Wood?" Reyn unbelievably said straightly questioned her loves which makes Wood stop laughing and became serious. Wood rarely became serious and I think those words of his lover hurts him a little. Ahhhh I want to end it today. Gosh!

"Hmm.. seems like your squad doesn't know how you managed the councils ha?" Vince said in his calm and deeply voice. He seems like provoking Kiara and the others, especially Ken.

Ahhhhhhh just fix it later. Dammit! I have still things to do after this damn! Plus I don't want any hindrances while doing my duties. damn!

Kiara, Ken and the others felt the tension inside the classroom which my classmates and the quadros was showing with. Even Wood showed it and Reyn felt.

As I was going to stop it and call it a day, Macreme stop me and glared at me. She's really into something when she's acting like this damn!

"Why didn't you tell your FRIENDS about everything you're doing here at school? Why are you hiding it from them?" She said in serious tone which startled me and nervousness comes in to me.

Dammit!

"N-no i-its n-not like that. I-its just that...." Stuttering I said.

"Just what? To not let them worry and bear it alone? You're not a kid anymore Lez. You know that. If you don't want to tell them yourself, I'll gonna do it. Don't try to complain with this. I'm so done seeing you stressed out and struggling until now. Got it?" She seriously said that made me nod instantly. Fuck! I don't want to hear this. When I was planning to get out in the crowd, Vince just grabbed my hand and look at me that I met his eyes. Damn!

I stayed on my position and try not to react to any of this. But remembering those times makes me want to die right now and not gonna get back. It's really pains in the ass to be forced and pressured at the same time, but as through times past by, I didn't mind it now. Seems like I'm used to it now. Tch from a young age till now... still the same. How can I escape this situation when its keep coming back on me? And now... just enjoying my time and grab a chance to feel the freedom once again.

"Lez. I think it was best to let them know now than later... And I guess Macreme was perfect for it as she witnessed it all." Wood whispered to me and smiled.

"I guess too. Let's just go with this. Dammit. I have still many things to do and this. Damn." I whispered back to him.

"Explained it at once. I don't want to remember those times again and again. Make it clear and end it. Don't give me a hard time after this. I'm so done to it. Dammit." I seriously said with a blank face and don't show any emotions.

It's better to end this at once and don't go back. It's tiring.

Macreme just look at me with her sorry look while my squad looked at me in confusion especially Ken who doesn't have any idea with it.

'Let's end this.' I said in mind.
