Due to some unfortunate circumstances this novel will no longer be able to proceed. I am very sorry for all those who have waited for the next chapter.

"Ah~ jeez, is there anything better to do here?" Jyouji whined out loud about how boring it was to be here.

He was currently at a secret facility that set on biochemical experiments and a rerun of the Stargate project after the Americans confirmed that they had a natural born Esper of theirselves which inevitably led to the person in question being 'researched' on.

Fortunately they did not die, but more rather the casualties were high for America as they had the ability to manipulate air.

They had taken the advantage of the fact that the scientists had no idea of his true power and killed them all by replacing all the oxygen in their lungs with carbon dioxide from the factory nearby the facility they were at.

Later on after the fatal deaths of everyone there the American government chose to give up on the first plan and pleaded with them to help them.

He agreed eventually and became the person known as Sylph. "The Stargate Project was a bust. Why do I have to help the Americans anyways? Isn't this Japan?" His thoughts were jumbled up; his confusion was further exacerbated after seeing that his target for the day was being attached to an IV drip and oxygen tank.

"I see that you're confused but it's not a big deal. After all their purpose for the project is to make more like me." Hearing the voice of the man behind him Jyouji perked up instantly and jumped backwards hissing at the Korean.

"How dare you show your face here. And to me nonetheless, haven't we all agreed that a faker like you should just disappear from our sights?" A white shroud enveloped the boy, cold mist flowing inside the room.

Seeing this the man shrouded himself in a similar shroud, albeit it was not as pure as the natural born, "Come and get me, Faker." The man he called Faker sneered and rushed towards the boy.

His speed was enough to close the distance, but not enough to catch up to Jyouji. The latter jumped high causing the Faker to let his guard down in surprise.

Within that window of opportunity Jyouji activated his ability and had the man experience a bout of lethargy. "Drowsiness!"

Soon his body slowed down and his arms lay numb to the side. His eyes dropped down, legs wobbling in effort just to stand.

"You made a mistake Lee Dong Hyun. If it was any other Overlord they would have killed you at any point of time; no hesitation at all, but I would rather torture you first, and since I am so benevolent this would be akin to giving you a small lifeline." The boy smirked knowingly and then added, "If you can survive that is."

Fury churned around in Lee Dong Hyun's mind. He hated being the subject of hatred for the Overlords.

Just because he was created by the government doesn't mean he works for them. Now not only was his family under the custody of King, he was also had to now work under the most neutral but crueler of all the Overlords.

Virgo The Twelfth. Or as the other Overlords call him; Virgo The Virgin Killer. The epithet rose after seeing that he killed all the soldiers that came after him but the thing was that they were all castrated before placing them out of their misery.

The other thing was that all of those that were castrated were virgins. A select few of the government officials even once joked about how he was the Eunuch Maker; but after gossiping about it they all came under a coma the next day.

Now no one dared to speak of that name. "Lord Virgo. We have some recruits on standby and we would like it if you were to assess them yourself. After all you can delve into the memories of others, who else could be able to find spies better than you?"

Lee Dong Hyun attempted to salvage the previous situation and flattered the boy. Which curiously actually worked on him. "Oh, jeez you're making me blush. Thanks for that Faker."

The man's mouth twitched wildly. He hated it whenever one called him Faker, but he was used to it by now.

"Report to me on how the facility was doing while I was away."

"Yes. Three days ago a researcher discovered that if you extract the enzymes that allows caterpillars to undergo metamorphosis and the drug we created to enhance physical strength; we would have an unknown substance that adheres to bodies and spread widely. We are unsure of its effects but it may alter our bodies similar to how a caterpillar would have." After Lee Dong Hyun finished his report Jyouji began to imagine what would happen if one were to be covered completely with it.

"Anything else?" Jyouji queried, he had been missing school for a while but it was fine for him since he had already altered the school's memory of him.

"Ah, Orion had just been recalled and is being sent back to America for a mission. So June Bloomfield is taking his place as your Apostle."

The boy expressed a mixture of surprise and suspicion. But he did not call it out, after all the officials that made the facility discreetly placed cameras everywhere.

"Ah, Spica. She's quite a handful but she's very capable. Too bad she's not my real Apostle, otherwise I would've asked Lupin to lend her a piece of my power."

Lee Dong Hyun paused a bit just to process that fact. He knew exactly what Lupin's power did but was surprised that Virgo would ever do something so generous.

"Now that I think about it. I believe that a sub family of a mage clan had just sent us a potential recruit. I believe that they are an exorcist clan from what I've heard."

Information about mage clans were very sparse and probing into classified information would cause massive outrage with the Arcane Side.

If they found out that they had gotten ahold of information about every clan in all seven continents; they would incur the wrath of Magicians everywhere.

They were after all sensitive and secretive people with little to no experience in the modern world, so it was expected that they hate modern humans and reject new forms of technology as they believe that magic could solve all problems.

But that wasn't important as Jyouji was more concerned about the recruit, 'Who could it be? Are they a spy? What is their purpose, no, more importantly. How deep of a sleep should I force him into?'

His devilish smile caught Lee Dong Hyun off guard, he felt chills running down his spine. He knew that his boss was about to make some trouble again.

He sighed and began to dial up an old friend. "Activate protocol 51. I repeat; protocol 51. Codename: Sleeping Beauty. The Overlord has descended."

Ask any questions you have so far. I’m trying to find a cover for the novel so I’ll do that first. Don’t be afraid to place down your opinions!
