The Truth of the Universe

NOTE: THIS IS FICTION. Lord God was besieged at Eternium, the capital space of the central area of the Eternal Realm. It was all thanks to the Eternal War at the Eternal Realm, a place where everyone always existed, and at the same time, never existed. God was able to escape with the remaining Spirits from his army by riding a translucent spirit cloud. Satan, God's most loyal army general implored. "God, we need to replenish our soldiers. We need to recruit more warriors in the nearest Material Realm, so we can teach those scrubs a lesson!" "While escaping, I also noticed a large number of low ranking spirits joining the flock. There's a good chance that there are spies among the common spirits." God looked around. The remaining angels appeared exhausted and were not fit enough to undergo another battle. Most of them were starting to dim out and barely hanging with there last threads of spiritual energy. "We'll rest for now." God said. "I'll make a place of recovery for everyone. "Everyone will automatically come back after some time. So, be sure to gather enough spiritual reserves and get back into your best shapes." "If any problem occurs, just call my name and I'll send some blessing on your way."

The Fairy and the Seed

The Immemorial Tree trembled continuously as millions of attacks poured down on its shrouded veil. If it weren't for the vast energy, it could have wilted out immediately under the never-ending barrage.

"You don't have to stop them. They're just anxious because you took something away from them. Everyone is like that."

Rattle, shake.

"Come on, don't say that."

'I haven't answered your question earlier, right? This place. I hate it and like it at the same time. It's a bit complicated... I made my first friend here, and yet we didn't even talk.'

'I was shy and it was hard to initiate a conversation with someone who could barely think. I watched an idiot turn into a lesser idiot for a long time.'

"Language."

'That idiot probably forgot about me! That idiot probably doesn't even remember me!'

"I'm sure your friend remembers you."

'I'm done waiting! I don't want to be here anymore! This place is filled with degradation! Can you please take me somewhere else? Somewhere peaceful?'

"What about your friend?" God reminded.

The Immemorial Tree remained silent for a moment, then suddenly burst out in the next second.

'I don't have a friend! I'll forget about that idiot too! Just like how he forget about me...'

The Immemorial Tree's voice slowly trailed off at the end, but it only took a moment before its hopeful voice came back.

'Will you take me elsewhere?'

God's brilliant eyes scanned the bark of the tree. Even though the giant tree in front of her had no face, she could clearly felt the dejection and unwillingness it currently feels.

In the end, God agreed with the Immemorial Tree's request.

Upon hearing the response that she was longing for, a soothing feeling came from the Immemorial Tree and swooped around the entire space around the island.

The relaxing feeling traversed the lush green grass on the surface ground and reached the edge of the island at light speed. The translucent veil that was shrouding the island disappeared, followed by a spiritual tempest that pushed every attacking spirit 100 meters away.

The spirit army owned by God miraculously remained at their defensive position around the island as if they weren't affected by the tempest.

It's not because they were strong, it was actually the Immemorial Tree's doing of selecting and filtering between allies and foes.

Its enormous body wasn't just for show. Its whole material form was high-quality hardware. It had a solid trunk that could calculate everything it needed to do. Its gigantic roots could passively collect spiritual energy by doing nothing. Every branch acted as signal towers, and every leave could be used for spiritual sense.

In just a few seconds, the Immemorial Tree calculated, planned, and executed a grand defensive without killing anyone. With its power, it could kill countless spirits every time it attacked, but it chose not to.

Every spirit, either a lord or a low-ranking one, finally gained sight of the island.

The second the veil disappeared, countless spiritual sense covered the island as if they would never let go of it again.

Some of the Spirit Lords stared confused at the group on the island.

Everything was still the same. A small floating island filled with grasses and an enormous tree at the center.

That only lasted for a short time as the Immemorial Tree suddenly wilted in a few blinks of their non-existent eyes.

It appeared like a timelapse of how plants die when not cared for properly. The giant tree's green leaves turned brown before falling off the branch, gliding slowly towards the ground. The branches rotted and became too fragile that it dispersed into dust without coming into contact with anything. Lastly, its wide trunk cracked and decayed before turning into dust.

Everything happened in a short time and before anyone could react, the tree of legend that everyone knows of had disappeared. In the massive empty space where it stood before, a small brown seed the size of a fist lay comfortably.

The brown seed trembled from its place followed by a sudden appearance of tiny white arms. A tiny spirit with almost the same size of the seed used its wings to fly up and examine the surrounding.

It had long silver hair with a fair skin just like the familiar figure proudly watching from the side.

The fairy awkwardly glide in the space as if it was a baby learning to walk.

"This feels so good! Moving around feels so good!"

The fairy was the Immemorial Tree who gave up its physical body to retain its spirit form. In return, it was freed from the restraints of its body and was able to move freely anywhere it wanted to.

The Immemorial Spirit flew around like it was an excited child being free after getting grounded for a week. It gleefully glided on the open space as if she owned time itself.

Unfortunately, that wasn't true.

The myriad spirits watching the scene quivered in anger. They've been battling for so long for someone to get all the benefits?! Others were filled with disappointment, while some became excited.

Although they don't know what just happened, everyone can finally be assured that the tree was really a treasure, and its miracle finally appeared before them!

If they could take it for themselves, they would become the strongest and rise towards the top of the rankings!

Ever since waking up, each spirit were taught about rankings by the Spirit Lords they serve. The minor ability that every spirit inherited from their Lords were getting developed as time passed by.

For everyone, ranking and evolving was important. Serving their Spirit Lord was top priority and evolving was the second.

Still, no one wants to develop themselves on their own and only want to take shortcuts by absorbing other spirits spiritual energy.

If only they could think more...

General Satan stood next to God and hid her from the spiritual sense of those lusting spirits eyeing her. His arms transformed into spiritual swords that exedud horrifying strenthg.

"Angel Battalion! Defend the Empress! Demon Army, march forward and annihilate anyone who dares to step forward!"

"Mylady, please stay here. I'll leave the Seraphim Elders to stand guard by your side. Please don't worry, I will create a path, so everyone could safely get away."
