What....what that black aura that surrounded Professor Quirell?
Gulping fresh air, Anthony twisted his neck towards Mylo.
"You good?"
"Im fine, thank you," Mylo responded. "Do any of you know Professor Quirrell's past?"
"Nah...." Anthony clicked his tongue, before saying: "He was a talented student at Hogwarts, but the only noticeable thing that he did was go to Albania to study vampires."
Vampires.. was it possible that he was a vampire, and he was the one sucking on the blood of the Unicorn?
No, that didn't make sense. if he was a Vampire, he would have long canine fangs, a pale body and a bloodthirsty aura.
the rather calm and cowardly man showed non of those traits, causing Mylo to click his tongue.
"Say, what does he hide under his turbin?"
"His bald head probably..." Anthony laughed, before looking at Mylo, who gave him a stern glance; "Why do you ask?"
"Just a thought," Mylo responded.
Albanian Magic was a close relative to Romanian and Slovakian magic, which is normally considered as "Dark Magic."
Dark Magic wasn't evil in its self but was a large majority of the magic's were forbidden in the category, that why those who are in the light, such as the ministry of magic, keep a close eye on those Babbel in the mystic but powerful magic.
he needed to make sure that Professor Quirell was monitored.
but he couldn't tell anyone about this, or they would be drawn into asking questions about his eyes.
a fate he wanted to avoid.
speaking about his eyes, what about the other herbs and things he put in the cauldron? did they have an effect?
slowly getting a piece of paper and slicing a bit of flesh, Mylo watched as the small wound closed in about 3 minutes.
not bad, supposing that a normal paper cut would last around 2-3 days.
it wasn't anything incredible, however.
and sleeping draught.... he couldn't figure out the effects of that just yet.
if it had an effect anyway.
"Mr Scamander, what is the Flipendo jinx?"
"A jinx that forcibly knocks the opponent into the air, with the curse feeling like a blow to the chest or being hit by a mini-van depending on the skill of the caster."
"Wonderful explanation, 5 points for Ravenclaw!"
Mylo felt it.
a hint of murderous intent.
what was he saying?
he never knew what murderous intent was.
but the power of the unicorn...
it seemed to strengthen his senses to harmful glares and gazes.
he felt something others can't.
what a wonderful tool. to differentiate friends from foe.
"Mylo," Luna, who had her head in a book before , asked a simple question; "Where is your crutch?"
he didn't tell them about the disease he inherited from his mother, so he simply laughed it off "Grandfather helped me get rid of it."
it was an incredibly stupid lie, but Anthony believed it easily and Luna simply didn't care.
but how would he monitor Professor Quirell?
it was a dangerous game of cat and mouse.
Nagi was hungry it seemed, as Mylo forgot to give him breakfast.
the rest of the datda class was boring, as although Professor Quirell was good at explaining things, he was just too boring for the class.
astronomy was cancelled due to rainy weather on the astronomy tower, so Mylo quickly ran over to Greenhouse 1, where he was to collect leftover wood scraps.
wood was a mana conductive material, which meant mana could freely go inside and outside of the wood, storing it.
magic circles had to be placed on mana-conductive materials, but since wood was low durability and would easily break, it certainly wasn't the best option.
some woods are used in wand making, but it could be strengthened by mixing it with other materials to make itself stronger.
but... it was the best he had right now. he just needed to make basic magic circle's to protect himself.
the negotiation with Professor Sprout was an easy one.
she didn't care about some simple wood, as it was the leftover habitat of the mandrakes she used; of whom change homes every now and then and never go back to the previous ones.
storing it into his suitcase and going back to his room, Mylo had the rest of the day off for free, so he was planning on using it to practice Voodooism.
although Voodooism wasn't the most respected magic, it was certainly a good introduction to the dark arts.
he needed to set some goals when it came to magic.
perhaps when he is older he can go and visit the famous magic schools scattered around the world.
England was a small insignificant country in his eyes, and he doesn't feel the restriction bound onto him by the muggles and the wizards that live here.
the only person he cares about is the people he knows and the people he loves.
Mylo went to dinner at the grand hall, fed Nagi and looked towards the pieces of wood that were laying on the floor.
it was time to practice voodooism.
