Azriel

From the very next day, I began keeping a watchful eye on the arrogant little princess. However, she hadn't displayed any suspicious behaviour just yet. Nevertheless, I find it hard to trust her, especially when it involves Princess Audrey.Princess Audrey deemed it beneath her to even spare a moment for that entitled 'Highness'. As I entered the library, I swiftly surveyed my surroundings. At last, solitude pervaded the room.

As I settled into one of the armchairs, I closed my eyes briefly, only to be interrupted by the laughter of a particular brunette. Opening my eyes, I turned towards the source of the sound – Princess Lucile.

I wondered who she was talking to at that moment. I couldn't resist my curiosity and stood up, attempting to eavesdrop on the conversation.

"Well, Luci..." Ah, Prince Adrian, the only one who addresses her in such a manner. "Come on, Adrian... I just want to join you." Adrian let out a sigh as the princess persistently pleaded.

I'm not the only one who shares this sentiment, huh? I felt like going out and help him but hey. He left me looking dumb in front of Audrey with a rose, guess it's a payback.

As I settled back into the armchair, my mind wandered to Princess Lucile. I couldn't help but think about the exquisite features of her face: her sculpted cheekbones, her captivating blue eyes that held a deep sense of mystery. Her light brown hair framed her perfectly.

There was something endearing about the way her brows furrowed when she concentrated deeply. And when she walked, her hips swayed with a graceful allure that made me long to reach out and hold her tight.

But I resisted the temptation. What's wrong with me? Why am I suddenly admiring someone who I should hate the most. I only have eyes for one person and that is princess Audrey.. I sigh..Until I hear footsteps nearby..

"My, my, isn't it duke azriel?" The princess raised an eyebrow

"It's fancy seeing you in the library, Princess." I mocked, earning myself a frown.

"Shut up, Duke Azriel" She sat across me..taking an apple from the basket.

I ignored her and picked up a book from a nearby shelf…..as she picked up the book from the shelf of classical romance…The way her finger wrapped around the book…

"So you're into that,Hm?" I mocked her again but she ignored me…How arrogant, this girl never gets tired of annoying me.

I struggled to concentrate on my book, but my mind kept drifting to a particular princess. Suddenly, our eyes locked, and I was taken aback.

Embarrassment washed over me as I realized I had been caught staring. To add to the discomfort, she smirked, fully aware that her ignorance was getting under my skin.

Annoyingly, she began to hum, as if taunting me further. I couldn't help but feel an intense dislike towards this woman. Trying to regain composure, I diverted my gaze back to my book. She rose from her seat and moved to the adjacent chair, only to find that her attempts at getting comfortable were in vain. Not that it concerned me in the least.

She let out an exasperated sigh, and I couldn't help but stifle a laugh, though a chuckle escaped.

"What's so funny, Duke Azriel?" she glared at me. As if that would intimidate me. "Well... it appears that a princess has forgotten how to sit with proper manners," I mocked her.

She smirked, leaving me wondering about her intentions. In a deliberate and seductive manner, she slowly approached me, nearly taking my breath away. "If you're willing, Duke Azriel, perhaps you could do me a favour," she murmured, leaning in closer. Startled, I set my book aside and cautiously inquired, "What is it that you desire, Princess?" Before I had a chance to react, she boldly positioned herself on my lap, leaving me stunned and filled with a mixture of fury and disbelief.

But I refuse to let her have the satisfaction. I firmly gripped her waist, ensuring she couldn't budge.

"Now, isn't this comfortable, Duke Azriel?" she smirked, engrossed in her book. It's incredibly uncomfortable, to be honest. Yet, her touch strangely warms me... "Princess, you have no clue what you're getting yourself into," I lean in and whisper in her ear, causing her to shudder slightly... Which I absolutely adore. I smirk, tugging a lock of stray hair behind her ear, I shouldn't be enjoying this…but..her body on mine…..It feels nice..

"Your majesty…." she drawls out, surprised. Princess Lucile's personal maiden, Catherine. Lucile's face turned red as she realised her maid just saw us and she got up, she seemed flustered. I smirk, well deserved. She left the library with her maid Catherine.
