Mito's meeting with the Uzumaki Clan Members

They reached the Senju Clan Manor soon enough. After delivering Kushina safely, the Uzumaki Clan members were about to leave. However, Araki stopped them under the pretext that they must eat something.

Besides, he was worried about his grandma growing bored. Once she grows bored, she would increase his training load just for the fun of it. She really liked seeing his struggling look.

Seeing Araki pestering them so much, the Uzumaki Clan members had little choice than to stay at the Senju Clan Manor. Mito arrived in the main hall and wasn't surprised to see the Uzumaki Clan Members other than Kushina. She knew some of them by their faces while the others were a little unfamiliar to her.

Her vision fell upon Kushina, and a gentle smile appeared on her face as she stared at the young tomato head.

Now that Araki looked carefully, he noticed that Kushina's hair colour was quite similar to his grandma. Though Mito's reddish coloured hairs were of a darker shade as compared to Kushina���s hairs. They gave off a lifeless aura as compared to Kushina's bright hairs.

Mito gave them a smile, and she said, "It has been some time since we last met, right, Himo?" Himo was the name of the Old Lady who had a talk with Araki earlier.

"It is my pleasure to know that Mito-sama still remembers me." She said this in a quiet voice, but excitement still leaked out of her voice.

Mito raised her brow when she couldn't find Araki at his seat. She moved her head towards Kushina's seat and couldn't find her there as well.

Her brows twitched irritably, as she thought 'That brat…! He even wants to sneak out of the hall at this moment. He even takes Kushina-chan with him now! I hope he doesn't turn Kushina-chan into a troublemaker as well.'

From the corner of her eyes, she saw the two children were about to leave the hall through the window. Just as Araki was in the middle of jumping out of the window, Mito called out to him in an extremely sweet voice, "Where are you taking, Kushina-chan, Araki-chan?" This voice made Araki shiver in fright.

"Oh, no! Grandma found out!" He cursed himself under his breath while nervously turning towards Mito.

While rubbing the back of his head, he nervously said, "I don't know what grandma is talking about. I was just showing the courtyard to Kushina-chan. Right, Kushina-chan?" He nudged her and pleaded her with his eyes.

Kushina was also quite nervous and said, "Y-yes, I just wanted to see those trees, dattebane!" Her face flushed with red tomato colour as she spoke her verbal tic mark.

Mito didn't even have the energy to grow angry at them anymore. She let out a sigh and said, "Alright, you can go outside. And Araki, show Kushina-chan the trees you grew. Don't do anything dangerous or else…" The dangerous glint from her eyes was enough of a reason for Araki to not do anything stupid.

"Yes, grandma!" He obediently said the words which he was going to forget very soon.

Mito nodded her head and decided to talk with the Uzumaki Clan's elders while Araki took Kushina out to play.

Taking a seat on the seat of the Clan Head, Mito stared at the Uzumaki Clan Members who had arrived. She gestured them to take a seat as well before starting the talk.

"Alright, now explain why so many of you have arrived. It surely wasn't just to escort Kushina-chan." Mito asked in a serious tone while staring at the faces of her Clan Members.

"You are correct, Mito-sama. Clan Head asked us to not only escort Kushina-chan safely to Konoha, but he also wanted us to request assistance from the Third Hokage. It looks like 3 of the five Great Nations are preparing for a large scale attack on Uzumaki Village." It was Himo who explained their reason for coming to Konoha.

Mito narrowed her eyes at these words, "I anticipated the other three Great Nations to ally and attack Uzumaki Village, but it's happening much earlier than I expected." She then went silent for a couple of seconds before speaking, "What has been Konoha's response until now?"

"Konoha is acting as if it's unaware of this information. But this should be impossible, right, Mito-sama?" Himo asked Mito curiously.

Mito, in turn, nodded her head, "Yes, it's probably that monkey playing his schemes, right now."

"Unlike Tobi or Hashi, this monkey doesn't seem to hold high regard for the Uzumaki Clan. The only reason he listens to me is that he respects me a little since I am his teacher's wife and also because I am Kyuubi's Jinchuiriki. He possibly wants to bring Kyuubi under his control." Mito finishes speaking in a grim tone.

The Uzumaki Clan members were startled after hearing Mito speak in such a grave tone. Himi immediately stood and spoke out, "Doesn't that mean Kushina-chan would be in danger once she becomes the Kyuubi's Jinchuiriki?!"

The Uzumaki Clan members all frowned at hearing those words except Mito. They all treated the other clan members as their family. They weren��t thrilled with the idea of letting Kushina suffer in Konoha, no matter the reason.

Mito at that time, shook her head, "No… he won't try to bring her under his control forcefully. The monkey likes to be subtle about such things. Either he will preach about staying loyal to the village or something else. He won't directly have Kushina-chan under his thumb but make her loyal to Konoha. It can be through supporting her or manipulating the scenes behind everyone's back. As long as she remains loyal to Konoha to give up her life for it, his task will be accomplished. This is what he thinks. So, you can rest assured that he won't harm her."

She then turned towards the window from where Araki and Kushina escaped just a while ago, "Besides if Kushina-chan stays with Araki, the Third Hokage won't dare to touch her. After all, he can be called the True Legacy Inheritor of Hashi. Angering him wouldn't be of benefit to Konoha. Even the Third Hokage realises this."

Her words relieved the Uzumaki Clan members. However, there was a question that appeared in their heads, and someone asked Mito, "True Legacy Inheritor of Hashirama-sama? Does that mean there are other inheritors of Hashirama-sama?"

"The Will of Fire is Hashi's inheritance that is being taught to all Konoha shinobis. However, his True Legacy Inheritor shall only be Araki because he has inherited Hashi's Bloodline Ability as well." As she finished speaking, a tree was visible outside the window, which was rapidly growing.

The Uzumaki Clan members were startled to see the scene. They didn't expect that the news of a Senju Clan member inheriting the legendary Mokuton was real! They were a little relieved of leaving Kushina with him now. She will definitely be safe here.

At that moment, they saw Kushina falling from the tree. It seemed that her Chakra control slipped and she was falling towards the ground. Araki was quick in creating a branch of the tree and hold Kushina's leg so she wouldn't fall the ground.

The Uzumaki Clan member's faces darkened and they thought to themselves 'Okay… She definitely won't be safe here.'

Mito just facepalmed at the antics of her grandson.
