Abilities of the Rinnegan

In one month, Kushina managed to master Senjutsu. The one thing which took most of her effort was to sit still and sense the nature chakra.

It was quite a challenge for even Fukasaku to make Kushina sit still for some time. He would get tired more times than he could count, but Kushina would still move a little.

But still, the old toad was just as stubborn as Kushina. And he was quite patient as well, so unlike the time with Araki, Kushina was learning rapidly.

Now that she was capable of sensing Nature Chakra after sitting still for some time, it didn't take her much time in balancing her own chakra with Nature Chakra.

Kushina's Sage Mode was a little different from Araki's Sage Mode. It was because she had mastered it using toad oil, so her inherent nature affinity was now inclined towards toads.

Minato was still training the Sage Mode. He was quite patient as compared to Kushina and had even learnt it much earlier than Kushina. The thing was that he had lower reserves as compared to Kushina. So, not only did he need to sense Nature Chakra, but he also needed to balance his own chakra with the Nature Chakra.

Fukasaku was already quite pleased with Minato's speed of learning though so he didn't say anything. He was sure that another 2-3 months and Minato would master Sage Mode unlike that of Jiraiya.

After returning to the Senju Clan Manor, Araki first asked everyone to sit and inform him of all that happened.

The Uzumaki Clan members informed him of quite a lot of things.

Taki had joined hands with Iwa and decided to target one of the closest Konoha Camps to their location. In turn, it was Ame who had defended Konoha's camps.

Araki smirked at this information, it really was right for him to let that old man live. He had a few uses left before he kicked the bucket.

Meanwhile, Taki was quite a village. All this village could boast of was holding a tailed beast. Even if that Tailed Beast was Seven Tails.

Well, he didn't care much.

From what he sensed, his dear snake was in Suna. It seemed that he was bidding his time, probably experimenting right now.

And he had no idea where Black Zetsu could be. He was sure that he wasn't around their location, or at least, he hadn't sensed Black Zetsu with his Sage Mode.

He also received news of how the Third Raikage had ambushed Hatake Sakumo's team and Hatake Sakumo barely survived due to assistance from the Third Hokage.

"Heh… If only the Hokage hadn't been making his moves against me, he wouldn't need to die. But I guess I can lower his punishment by a bit since he did save Sensei." Araki spoke to himself. Although he tried to speak calmly, he failed miserably. He couldn't mask his rage against the Hokage.

He still remembered that time when he met the Third Hokage, and he had spouted out that Araki was disappointing his grandfather and granduncle. Those were the words Araki couldn't tolerate.

Just thinking of that moment would make him so angry that he wanted to massacre the Third Hokage multiple times.

Unfortunately, that old man had a single life.

And then, he thought about the Third Raikage. Araki didn't understand just why was this man courting death so much.

Couldn't he wait for one more year? He should just continue to build up his military strength and sponge off the clans within his village.

Araki was really worried about the Third Raikage. If he accidentally died, that would be quite bad. Maybe he would need to think of some way to revive that man.

There was no way he was going to let that man experience an easy death. He would feel pain… So much pain that he would be begging to die.

Just like that, months passed…

The tension at the Kumo Battlefield was slowly lifting while the tension at the Iwa battlefield was rising.

The Third Hokage returned to Konoha since there was not much point in staying in the camp any longer. He asked for the respective Clans to sent some Shinobi towards the Konoha camp in Ame.

The clan heads complied with his order, including Keshiro. Keshiro sent a few Jounins and Chunins to the Konoha Camp in Ame. He gave them strict instructions to stay together and protect themselves. That must be their top priority.

The Uchiha Clan Members naturally obeyed his instructions.

Keshiro continued to train his Fire Affinity and Lightning Affinity. He had mastered both these affinities. He was planning on starting to master the Earth Affinity as well. Defensively, it was quite useful…

Meanwhile, Yahiko, Nagato, Konan, and other Akatsuki Members were fiercely training as well. Although they had been given shelter in Konoha by Araki, Yahiko still wanted to return to Amegakure and spread peace in it before moving towards the whole world.

Konan and Nagato weren't going to let him do this alone.

Since the time Araki had seemingly 'awakened' the true power of Nagato's Rinnegan, Nagato's power went through the roof.

He was getting stronger at a tremendous rate. The one Jutsu which had become his most powerful jutsu was Shinra Tensei!

It repelled anything in the area and its time limit depended on how much chakra he placed in the Jutsu. He could also attract anything towards his own body. Although he could use this jutsu before as well, it's power was much greater now.

He couldn't really summon the Gedo Statue since it was sealed within Araki's body by a powerful seal. Still, he found that he could summon several beasts even though he had no contract with them.

Strangely, these beasts would have Rinnegan in their eyes as well, as if signifying that they had been summoned by a Rinnegan user.

He was taught Shadow Clone Jutsu because of his vast Chakra reserves. As he created clones, he was surprised that he could look through both eyes at the same time.

This meant that he could easily eliminate his own blind spot while keeping a clone near him and using him smartly.

This wasn't the end of his abilities, though. After some time of training with the Rinnegan, he found that he could absorb chakra whether it was pure chakra from someone's body or from their elemental attacks. However, although he could absorb Chakra, he couldn't absorb their physical state. Like… If he was hit by a Wood Dragon, before he could even absorb the chakra in the Wood Dragon, he would be smashed away due to that physical body which contained mass.

Nagato could create multiple mechanisms of his body or through his clone. Like… creating an extra mechanical arm or something.

Nagato had only unlocked these abilities until now. He was training to figure out more of the Rinnegan's secrets.
