After their meal, Cass returned to his dressing room to freshen up. As he emerged, he noticed Chen exiting at the same time.

"Hey."

Chen briskly walked past, dismissing Cass. A hint of amusement flickered in Cass' eyes, and he playfully grasped his wrist. Chen pulled away, raising an eyebrow.

Cass tilted his head and inquired, "Are you upset I canceled our lunch date?"

Chen replied, "Why would I be?"

"I'm sorry. I'll make sure to have lunch with you every time from now on," Cass promised.

The twins, just stepping out of Shaotian's dressing room, exchanged frowns. Chen looked at Cass, uncertain.

Cass took Chen's hand and flashed a reassuring smile. "I promise."

Chen nodded, gripping Cass' hand tighter as they continued walking. Chen couldn't recall the last time he found interest beyond acting.
