3.12 Bond
Valerian reached out and wiped Cass' tears when they fell. Cass smiled and said:
"I'm fine."
Valerian moved his chair closer to Cass and said:
"If you feel a certain way or wish to open up, you can speak to me. I'll always listen."
Cass tilted his head.
"Why?"
Valerian thought, then said:
"You remind me of my little brother a lot. It makes me want to take care of you."
Cass smiled with flushed cheeks. Valerian's eyes softened, and he asked nervously:
"So, you'll talk to me when you don't feel well?"
Cass nodded. Valerian said:
"You can speak to me anytime about anything, even if you believe it's mundane."
Cass smiled. He thought Valerian would be worried or act like he never knew, but he was mistaken. Valerian is not exactly seen as soft and gentle.
Although, he knows that the person, he loved most after his parents was his little brother. Cass saw a picture of him, and indeed, they look alike.
"Okay, I will."
