2.26 For Good
Cass checked to make sure he had everything he would need, for tomorrow's presentation. When he was done, he doubled checked his presentation.
The door opened, and he said without looking up from his computer:
"You can drop whatever you have on one of the tables. Just be careful."
Shuo closed the door behind him and walked to Cass' desktop. His heart was beating fast, and he felt nervous.
"Cass?"
Cass looked up and frowned.
"What are you doing here?"
"I thought we could talk."
Cass said before looking down:
"There's nothing to talk about."
Shuo was about to walk around the desk, but Cass immediately stood up and blocked his way. He pushed him and said:
"No one is allowed behind the desk, and I told you there is nothing to talk about."
