1.16 Ambrose
Caspian stared at Salvatore. He was sitting on the bed against the bed frame, with his eyes closed. There was blood at the corner of his lips and he looked pale. Two maids were cleaning the blood on the floor. Caspian's eyes moistened.
Silas looked at him and reassured:
*It's okay, he'll be fine in an hour, once he drinks the potion.*
Caspian knows that, but he can feel his pain. He thought he wouldn't care, but not only does he, but feels it, like he is the one going through it. That's how connected they are.
When tears ran down his face, he wiped them quickly and went to the bed. He glanced at the housemaids who were done wiping the floor and ordered:
"Leave."
Salvatore opened his eyes and looked at Caspian. The housemaids glanced at the emperor and he nodded. Caspian went to the bathroom and ran a bath. He then went to the walk-in closet and pulled out clean white robes.
