29 Preparations

After she met a few of their friends, the girl wanted to return back to the castle, well the queen had some business to take care of, so Liam took her instead, while they were walking Octavia felt weak, Liam noticed that she did not look right,

"Ma'am are you okay?" he asked,

"Oh yup i am fine thanks for asking Liam" she replied, ]

"I t is my duty after all" he said,

"Okay uh... i told you to stop calling me ma'am" she replied,

"Yeah i remember but you are the prince fiancee now so i have to" he said,

"No you do not, we are friends so cut it out" she replied.

"As you wish" he said as they arrived at the palace.

She went inside only to find the prince flirting with a girl, she knew that would affect his plan and did not want him to take out his anger on her later so she walked up to them,

"Hello" she said,

"Oh hi Octavia" he replied,

"Who are you?" the girl asked,

"I am his fiancee " she responded,

The prince smiled and looked at her when she said that,

"Sorry ma'am i did not know" she replied,

"Hmm you are a maid right?" she asked,

"Yes i am" the maid replied,

"Well no longer, i noticed you flirting with a lot of guys and i will not tolerate it, you are fired" she said,

"But ma'am" she responded,

"I said you are fired so get going" she said,

"Ma'am please" she pleaded,

"You heard her, get lost" the prince shouted.

The girl left quietly without saying another word, Cassius turned and smiled with her saying "you are finally acting like my fiancee, well done",

"I did that because i had no other option" she replied as she walked away from him.

Little did she know that it was the prince feeding time and she was his snack.

"Octavia yo had lunch as yet?" he asked,

"No sire why?" she responded,

"Well go and eat something and when you are finish meet me in the room" he said,

"Uh... okay sire" she replied as she went and got some food while he was waiting for her in the room.

She ate a little food and drank a cup of juice, when she was finish, the girl went to the room, she found the prince without shirt sitting on the bed waiting for her, that was the moment she realized what he wanted.

"Come here and take the scarf off, damn this place is cold" he said,

"If it is cold then why is your shirt off?" she asked,

"Well that is because vampires love the cold unlike werewolves like yourself" he responded,

"You knew all along, hmm and for your kind information i am not like the other werewolves unlike them i have no problem with the cold" she said,

"Yeah i know, now come on i am getting impatient, because the more thirsty i get, the more blood will be drained " he replied.

She took off her scarf, he got up, placed his hand gently on her neck, while he removed her hair from her neck, he then leaned in, took out his fangs and bit her on the same place, this time he took more blood than the last, when he finished, he wiped her neck and placed the scarf back on.

"Thanks honey" he said,

"The girl looked at him and as she tried to walk away, she fell but he caught her,

"What is wrong with you?" he asked as he placed her on the bed,

"I did not get a chance to boost my energy back, this is the third time you took blood from last night to now" she responded.

He sighed "hmm okay if that is the case, i will try not to take anymore blood for today, just get your energy for the party tonight" he said,

"Okay sire" she replied with tears in her eyes.

"Here have some water" he said,

She collected the water from him, sat up and drank it, "Thank you" she replied, '

"Yeah whatever, i will see you tonight later" he said as he left the room.

Later that afternoon, the queen was looking for her, so she sent Liam to call her in the hall, he did as told, he went up to the room and asked Octavia to meet the queen, she went with him and so the queen sitting at the table.

"You called your highness" she said,

"Yes, Octavia since he will be announcing your engagement at the party, don't you have any friends and family you want to call?" she asked,

"Uh.. i have few friends and there is no other family member that i know" she replied.

"Oh well you can consider my family yours now" Cassius sister said.

"Thank you, if you are finish, i would like to start my preparation for the party" she replied,

"Yeah that is all" the queen said.

After that the girl went to her room, picked the dress the queen chose for her along with a necklace, bracelet and earrings and a shoe.

When the sun went down, it was now less than half an hour until the party begin, so she got herself together, took a bath and when she was finished she started to get dressed for the party, but before she did that, Octavia got the prince clothes ready before he came back.

She got him the suit that matched his personality, one thing was for sure, the prince heart would skip a beat when he sees her, well that is if he has one, the preparations and everything was finished.

While she was getting dressed, the girl was lost in the thought of Cassius, she knew that for some reasons she was getting attached to him everyday that goes by.

She knew that she was attracted to him now, that is why she was feeling bad when she saw he was flirting with that girl earlier.
