12 Dark side of the prince

Both the prince and the girl rode off, the king and queen saw when they left,

"i hope that they stay safe" the queen said,

"do not worry they will take good care of each other, besides they're gonna be back in a few hours relax, i am going to the training arena okay" the king replied as he walked away.

The queen mind and soul were sure that something is going to happen "hmph i must be over thinking things, they will be fine" she said to herself as she prepared to leave for the bakery. As she was packing she found a little blood on the floor leading in the prince and the girl room.

"Huh this is weird" she said, as she opened the room door, the queen followed the blood to the balcony where the girl was "oh maybe it was the girl wound, it must have opened back up, i was getting worried for no reason" she said to herself as she left the room and went into the carriage.

Later that day the two of them arrived at the huge waterfall, it is known to be the longest waterfall in all the kingdoms, "wow this is beautiful" the girl said,

"yeah it sure is, look there are two rainbows above it" the prince replied,

"i see it, well should we relax here a bit then head back before lunch" she said,

"sure, come on" he replied as he walked ahead and the girl followed him, she took out the bag that he packed took out a few snack, with the blanket and spread it under a huge apple tree, he sat down, inhaling the fresh air, "so other than now you had never left the kingdom right?" he asked,

"oh yeah this is my first time, i guess you travel a lot being the prince and all" she replied,

"i only travel once or twice a year most of the time i prefer leaving the castle but stay in the kingdom" he said, the girl looked at him keenly as he was talking, he noticed that she won't take her eyes off of him "i know that i am really handsome but you don't need to keep staring at me like that" he said, it was obvious that he was teasing her.

The girl then looked away acting like he was assuming incorrectly, "hmm you think you are all that" she said to herself,

"Huh.. did you say something?" he asked,

"uh.. nope nothing at all" she replied.

"You know despite hating me, you are being quite nice" she said,

the boy smiled wickedly "true, i a, only being nice because i have no other choice" he replied,

"Oh why do you hate girls?" she asked,

"Hah i do not hate girls, i just have a few problems with girls like you, typical" he replied.

She was not that shocked upon hearing his answer for the queen had already told her that he is not those prince who would help just like that, he might look normal and soft but he is the total opposite of that.

The girl turned away and did not ask another question, for she was afraid that it would male him angry, the prince then lay down on the blanket and shut his eyes, Octavia looked around to see if anyone or anything was following them, before diverting her gaze back at the prince whom she thought was like those in the books, well now she knows how dark he can get.

He felt she was staring again, he folded his cuff "stop staring at me!" he shouted, the poor girl jumped and turned away in tear "i never thought that he had this side" she said to herself as she moved away from him and sat near her horse.

The house noticed that she moved and smiled, it was nearing lunch and the girl wanted to go back, but she started to feel that her body was producing a lot of heat than normal, the water on the ground where she sat dried up "oh no my body needs to cool down, what is going on with me? she asked herself.

The girl got up looking for a place to take a bath and that is private but unfortunately there was no place to have privacy out there, "what is she doing?" he asked himself, a few minutes after she finished thinking the girl went into the water with her clothes on, "ooh... the water is ice cold" she said to herself, the prince laughed "oh man how is the water?" he asked in a teasing way,

"hmm it is cold but that is how i want it to be right now" she said,

"oh really well when you are finish we will be leaving and you will not change your clothes, since that is the way you want the water you will ride home with the wet clothes" he replied,

The girl exhaled deeply "no problem" she said, the prince smirked wickedly and started packing up the things in his bag and when he was finished he placed it on the horse, when the girl finished taking the bath, they left immediately, on their way back the girl grabbed an apple to eat for she had started to feel cold.

"We will arrive soon, take the blanket and wrap it around yourself before you catch a cold and give me it too" the prince said, the girl did as told, when they arrived at the palace the queen was pleased to see that both of them were okay, "i am glad that you guys are safe" she said,

"thanks and sorry if we made you worry" the girl replied,

"No it is totally okay, it will be lunch soon, go get ready and we can all have lunch unless you wish to eat later" the queen said,

"We will eat with you guys, just as soon as Octavia here get dressed" responded the prince harshly,

"i will be right back" the girl said as she walked away, the queen noticed that the girl was looking a little depressed and planned to talk to her about it later.

"Octavia was all wet and there is a possibility that she could fall sick, it is best if i make some soup for her to eat, it will only take a few minutes" Caria said as she rushed to the kitchen.
