Chapter Ten Vampire

"E...Eric?!"I called out ,was it really him or was my eyes playing tricks on me because I hit my head so hard.That guy standing there staring at me intently looked exactly like Eric,the only difference was the blood red eyes and the fangs and claws.

" Ariana"He called my name,his voice still cold and I broke down,I suddenly felt weak in the knees ,I was about to collapse on the floor and he rushed to me in an inhuman speed and grabbed my waist even before I lost my balance.

"You... you're a..."

"Vampire."Maggie said cutting the words out of my mouth,she was walking mindlessly towards Eric and she was carrying a sword,but thank goodness it was not made out of silver...I spoke too soon because I suddenly saw Maggie dropping the sword and brought out a wooden dagger,and it was sharp at the end, enough to stab through a vampires heart and Eric was her first target.

"listen Eric... we're gonna talk about this later,but you can't be here right now."I said pushing him to leave,but he was just so strong that he didn't even budge.

"Why, what's wrong?"Eric asked.

"just go"I said expecting help from Ellen and the guys but they just stood there watching the scene.Maggie kept walking towards Eric,her eyes looked lifeless and she wasn't the Maggie I knew,she was filled with hate right now ,the way she clenched the dagger in her hands and the direct gaze at Eric,she looked like she would chew him raw if she had the chance.

"Maggie drop the dagger,it's Eric, c'mon you know him,He's our boss"I said standing Infront of Eric and in-between them both.

" What's wrong with Maggie?"Eric asked curiously peeking behind me.

"She's an ORM,now shut the hell up and save yourself goddamnit."I said in fustrating but Eric still didn't listen,he kept asking questions.

"Orm?!" He asked and I glared at him.

"Yes,ORM, you're also a vampire and you didn't tell me,I swear if she doesn't kill you,I'll kill you myself."I said and Eric instantly clamped his mouth shut.before I could return my gaze to Maggie,I was unexpectedly thrown out of the way by her and she started dishing out delicious attacks to Eric.The girl I was looking out wasn't Maggie,she looked like Maggie but lifeless she looks like a zombie whose soul purpose was to kill Eric,but Eric wasn't attacking her,he tried his best to dodge her attacks but he received some blows,I looked at the guys for some help in restraining her but they ignored my gaze,I know they were thinking the demons sent him and honestly,I don't know anything,maybe they indeed sent him, because how else would he have gotten here?but still I can't let him die and I can't let my best friends get blood on her hands.

Maggie finally found and opening and threw a stunt,, kicking him hard under the chin as he fell backwards with a shocked expression plastered on his face.Maggie was about to stab him with the wooden dagger and I grabbed her hand and quickly took it away from her throwing it far away somewhere she couldn't get it.

" Maggie please stop that's enough " I said trying to make her snap out of her trance but what I received instead of a positive response was a slap on my cheek that sent me to the ground,I felt so weak without my powers, damn it if only I had them right now I wouldn't have to stress myself to this extent.

I stood up again I held and shook Maggie trying to make her snap out of her trance again, even dishing out slaps on her face

"Snap.out.of.it"I said while giving her hot slaps half of it was revenge on her slapping me while the rest was getting my best friend out of this Orm trap,she shouldn't behave like this it's scary,I want my best friend back and the jolly Maggie,why do I feel like this place has changed her alot.

"it won't work, there's no urge stronger than the ORM'S urge to to kill a vampire."Ellen said standing with her arms crossed, "Just let her kill him and it'll be over and done with."Ellen said again and I glared at her I really felt like strangling her sometimes why does she has to be so mean.

Maggie was About to kick my jaws when I caught her legs in mid air and pushed threw it backwards causing her to fall on the ground with a thud.she stood up again and this time she came directly at me,she started throwing punches and I defended myself by blocking her attacks to.i got angry and was trying to find a way to knock her out and when I finally found one I took it,the staff in Stephan's hand I took it from the dead Beasts eye and hit it on Maggie's head,I didn't use the blade area just the stick area so she's not dead...I hope.

"Are the two friends fighting over the same vampire?!"Gab asked and received a savage response from Stephan.

"No wolf brain,the princess is trying to protect the vampire and her friend from getting blood on her hands "Stephan said,he had obviously read her mind it was another special skill and traits of a Goblin.

"Wolf brain?!"Gab said showing his claws and glaring at Stephan.

"You're so dumb."Stephan replied,unfazed at the sharp claw Gab was showing off and obviously threatening him.

"Guys enough"Ellen said watching the two friends fight over one man,one wants to kill the other wants to save.

"Ellen do something!!"I shouted and she grunted and walked over to the unconscious Maggie,she was also curious about what was going on.

" What's going on?"Ellen asked.

"I think we should ask Eric"I said glaring at him.
