Chapter four you're not human?!!

"where did you come from?"Maggie asked but was ignored by the woman.

"Time is running out princess,you need not waste any more time."The old lady said again,she was wearing a white garment with silvery designs,she had extremely long grey hair and silver eyes just like Ari's own,she was glowing, lighting up the dark hunted house.

Margaret's survival instinct kicked in and she attacked the old lady but was shocked when she haven't even reached an inch near the woman and was already mobilized in the air with a powerful magic,'the old lady had magic?was she a witch?!'Maggie asked herself.

"Enough ORM,you're no match for me,you must be so hungry to die "The old lady said and her silver eyes gleamed.

"O...ORM?"Ariana repeated and then suddenly collapsed on the ground with the rush of memories going in her head.

Ariana's POV

I saw myself in a celestial castle...I saw the younger version of myself talking to a man,he was wearing a pure golden armor and his hair was as red as blood,just like mine.he looked angelic and he was carrying a sword made of pure silver,he was a king and his majestic aura filled the castle,the crown on his head was made up of the finest gold and diamonds,i was an exact replica of him and the smile,the eyes, everything was just the same.

i got a feeling of Dêja vú,as if I've been here before and I've experienced all this.

Ariana was the only daughter of King Xavier and queen Dabria,the queen was killed by the Demon king Mammok 2 months after her birth and she had lived without a mother,her father the king gave her all his time and affection,he loved her unconditionally,her real name was Princess Annalise and she was just eight years old when her destiny was decided by the Ancestors,the people in the Alfiedia(sun kingdom)were Phoenixes, descendants of pure blooded angels and King Xavier was a direct descendant of Archangel Michael the commander of the host of the most,which meant they were warriors.Before the princess was born Ancestor Archangel Michael appeared to his descendant king Xavier that he would soon have a daughter,the past Ancestors powers will be transferred into her and the fate of the universe was in her hands,she is the one destined to fight against the Seven horned dragon,the seven horns were the seven forbidden dark magic and destroy it.if she failed to do so,the sun kingdom along with the universe will be destroyed,but if she succeed she will become Queen and peace will reign and the existence of Demons will be wiped out completely.

King Xavier was to send his only daughter whom he loved so much to Earth without supervision.Princess Annalise grew into an intelligent little kid and as a warrior,Eight years old her powers were too much to handle, eight years old her powers had surpassed the king's powers.she was the first to transform into a full Phoenix at such a young age in the history of the Sun kingdom no one he'd ever done that they could only sprout wings but never transformed.

Princess Annalise was born with immense intelligence and she knew her destiny was not in the sun kingdom,she had a mission to fulfil and she was not going to let anyone hinder her,not even her father.

She was sent to Earth but on her way there,she was ambushed by the Demon king himself and she was knocked off course and she crashed into the ocean and was frozen there in the deepest depth for a thousand years,the ocean dried up and she was still unconscious when some wealthy couple found her,they were drawn by her celestial beauty and she was adopted into their family since they had no child,she had lost her memories and her powers,she was the kind of child everyone wishes to have, intelligent,bold and respectful also very obedient.the wealthy couple didn't regret adopting her for a second.years later on Ariana's 18th birthday she started having strange dreams about her past a thousand years ago.she regained some of her memories enough to know she was not of this world and was a royalty in Alfiedia,she knew she was sent here for a mission but she couldn't remember what exactly the mission was.

I woke up with a loud gasp,I was laying down on the old woman's lap back at our apartment,Maggie looked like she had just seen a ghost and she technically saw someone appear out of nowhere so she was not wrong to be frightened.

"Grandma...you came,I remember everything now,you, father,my mission."I said with tears in my eyes as I hugged my grandmother.

''Annalise my dear,"the old lady said and put her forehead on my own, I knew I was really close with my grandmother back then all the spells i knew was taught to me by Grandma Olivia and those lullabies and stories about how my mother was a brave warrior and was killed by demons my grandmother had always told me everything even when my father lied,my grandmother will always say the truth so I trusted this woman with my life.

"I assume you told Maggie everything that's why she looks like she had just seen a ghost"I said looking at the frozen Maggie who couldn't find her voice.

"Yes...besides she's your best friend she deserves to know,and she could accompany you in your journey."Grandma Olivia said.

"What journey?"I asked.

"The journey to recover your powers"Grandma Olivia said again putting the stray strand of hairs behind my ear.

"But grandma,I like being like this,I don't want my powers"I cried out.

" you have to,it's your destiny,you're going to become Queen and you're a warrior."Grandma Olivia said and Maggie listened in silence this came as a very huge blow to her,but she managed to keep her cool.

" How do I get them?"I asked and she handed me a folded map.

" Don't open it until you're ready"Grandma Olivia said and then she disappeared without a trace.

"No grandma, wait!!"I screamed, trying to call her back but she was already gone, instead she met up with a death glare from Mageret.

"Why didn't you tell me?"Maggie said as soon as the lady was gone.

"That's because I wasn't sure about who I was either."I said on response.

" You were actually an Angel a royalty at that and you are from another planet entirely!!"Maggie scolded.

"Phoenix,I'm a phoenix and I'm from the sun...don't try to play the victim here you also didn't tell me you were an ORM!!"Ari scolded back and there was silence for a moment.

"From now on let's not keep secrets from each other anymore, we're best friends it shouldn't be like this between us"Maggie said and I hugged her she was indeed a sister to me.

"You start,tell me everything not leaving a single detail out."I said to Maggie and sat on the bed to hear her real story as an ORM.

" I was 14 when my training begun,I was strong and fierce physically but still weak emotionally.it was in the blood of ORMS to be strong mentally and physically but I lacked strength mentally and that led to the death of my parents,we were hunting vampires when they surrounded us I got one and was about to pierce his heart with a stick but I couldn't,I froze up and then I was thrown and watched as he slit my parents throat."Maggie said with tears in her eyes and I consoled her,I knew it wasn't easy not having your parents by your side,or watching them die right Infront of you.

"I gave up being an ORM,what was there anyway,the vampires went In hiding and there was no sign of them,we ORMS had special skills of smelling vampires a mile away,their scent was a sweet fragrance to the ORMS but now I haven't perceived that smell for ages years now I actually thought all supernaturals had gone extinct and there was no sign of them for over 20 years now... Enough talking about me, let's hear your story princess."Maggie said wiping her tears and covering her sad expression with a smile.

" For me...I'm Annalise,princess of Alfiedia the sun kingdom,our people practices sun magic also known as dark magic,it was really fun a thousand years ago until I was ambushed.my mother died in the hands of the same demon that ambushed me in other to protect me so I can fulfill my Destiny and defeat the dragon,if I fail my people will be wiped from existence."Ariana said with a sad smile,they were both pouring their hearts out and sharing each other's secret.

"Maggie, Grandma said you need to accompany me in my journey to regain my powers,I really need your help"Ari said with pleading eyes but Maggie didn't fall for it.

"What !! I'm not doing that"Maggie yelled and shook her head.

"Do you want your world to survive or what,if you do you have no choice but to help me or else we'll all die."Ari said with authority in her voice and there was a moment of silence.

Maggie noticed that ever since she woke up and regained her memories,she wasn't the same Ari she used to know,there was an aura of superiority around her and she didn't wake up as Ariana but as princess Annalise,there was a glint of leadership and power in her eyes.

"(sigh)when do we leave"Maggie finally gave in.

"Tomorrow"Ari said with a smile.

"This trip better be worth my time"Maggie said and the girls went to bed,it was midnight and Ariana suddenly felt the urge to go out.she went out of the apartment and sat under an oak tree watching the moon.A car suddenly stopped Infront of her and Eric came out.

"Hey"he said, walking towards her.

"Hey...what brings you here by this time?"Ari asked with a smile.

" Nothing...I just wanted to know my schedule for tomorrow and do I need an excuse to see my secretary?"He lied avoiding the fact that he Missed her and wanted to see her.

Her smiling face instantly turned down and her eyes that were shining and twinkling like stars also died down "I..thank goodness you came I have something to talk to you about."she said,she missed the stars twinkling in Eric's eyes thinking she was about to confess her feelings to him.

"Go on"he said with a smirk when he saw her doing her signature move again, looking everywhere but his eyes she bit her lip softly.

"I can't be your secretary anymore,I submitted my resignation letter this evening."Ari said and Eric mentally broke down,he wasn't expecting this news at all.

"Why,was I bad to you?did...did I do anything wrong?... should I increase your salary?!"Eric asked when he finally found his voice,he was holding her hands and looking directly in her silver eyes.

"No...no,it's not you,it's me...my parents,they...want me to travel somewhere for a while so I...I can't keep working with you and Maggie's coming with me too"Ariana said looking everywhere but his eyes.

Maggie stood on the porch holding in her laughter,she clutched her chest hard and pomp her jaws to suppress the burst of laughter that was trying to escape her lips.

Ariana and Eric looked like a cute couple that was about to break up although they had never dated before.

Eric looked like a confused boyfriend begging his determined girlfriend not to leave him, promising the world to her if he had to ,and Ariana looked like a secretive girlfriend that was hiding the main reason for breaking up with him.

Finally Maggie let out the burst of laughter surging through her as she imagined them in their Chibi version.

Thankfully they were so engrossed in their talk they didn't even notice her.

After laughing to her hearts content it suddenly become annoying as Eric kept persuading Ariana to stay.She knew she had to stop this if not Eric might not leave today.she went out badging in on their conversation.

"Hey Eric,we have somewhere to go in the morning and you're stressing Ari out...she has to go even if you promise her the world 'pfft' anyway I'm gonna ask you to leave now , Ariana needs to rest."Maggie said in a fiesty tone despite knowing that was their boss they were talking to,but it wasn't gonna matter anyway cause they've both submitted their resignation letter.

Maggie dragged Ari in and shut the door.Eric felt his blood boil and he stormed of in his car, driving like a maniac.
