Axel is a struggling novelist who stumbles upon an otherworldly online writing tool that would grant his desires to become the greatest author. Though he found it hard to believe, he fell at the hands of the website's temptation and imported his almost finished novel into the platform. After importing his work and making changes to his story, he drifted off to sleep and opened his eyes to find himself in the world of his own novel as an extra. Taking a deep breath, I decided to share my idea with Vanessa and Christian.
"What if we create a distraction?" I suggested, trying to sound casual.
"We could gather more intel and maybe even find a way to get inside without alerting anyone."
Vanessa and Christian exchanged sceptical looks, clearly not convinced.
"Why should we do that?" Christian asked, his tone challenging.
"Our mission is to observe and report, not to engage."
I swallowed, feeling the weight of my words.
"I know, but what if there are people inside who need our help? We can't just ignore them."
Vanessa shook her head, her expression firm.
