We were in Samuel's room. He told me about my parents and that Benji and his family wanted to protect me from my father's enemies. Before I could get answers of all my questions Benji and Aunt Caroline came.
I faced the couple in front of me. "I-I am sorry for earlier. I should have listened to everything. Samuel has told me how much you guys sacrificed for me and I swear I will always be indebted to you for it. But... I still need some time to get used to all of this. Like I find it weird when Samuel calls you father. And... I still need time to accept that now my old man has other people in his life too."
Benji hugged me, caressing my hair. "I understand, darling. Take all the time you need. And no matter what but you are the only princess that I love the most!"
"See, I told you he loves you more than me and mother" Samuel grinned.
