BRIA
The rest of the day when my friends were enjoying their time, I kept thinking about the person I saw in the mall. Was it the same person that I was thinking of? But how could it be possible?
My mind was going crazy thinking about it. So I stopped by the time I went to my bed.
Two days later, I was getting ready for Emma's birthday party in my bedroom. Bonnie had forced me to buy this black bodycon dress that she thought looked dope on me- her words, not mine.
I had taken efforts to put on some makeup and style my long jet-black hair into soft curls that cascaded over my shoulders like a waterfall. I paired my outfit with black sandals- again Bonnie's choice- which was too uncomfortable for my liking. I kept glancing at my white sneakers, but Bonnie's angry face kept me away from doing the 'scandalous'.
I watched myself in the mirror, and to be honest- I think I indeed looked dope. A smile of satisfaction lit up my face.
