THE TOXIC BOND

Love can conquer Evil, but what if your love is EVIL? A promise was made two years ago between the two broken souls...a promise of working on their imperfections and sharpening them to fit in each other perfectly. THE TOXIC DEAL was what clashed their destinies together. Life threw the thorns of secrets and betrayals in their way, yet they fought together. They won together! Parting their ways was their conscious choice with a hope of a better tomorrow. Their promise kept them going and battling their demons. But not all promises are meant to be kept! Bria Maxwell and Hayden King couldn't find their happy ending in the first book- THE TOXIC DEAL. Now it is time for the reunion, but are they ready to face each other after growing into two completely different persons? Is their love still strong enough to burn bright in the fire of desire? Or the willingness to fight for each other has already faded away? Join them in their further adventure that is grander, scarier, more thrilling and... more dangerous! ***** This is the second book of the 'TOXIC' series! 78 FINALLY A CHEF!

BRIA

Roaming through those rows, I finally stood in front of a shelf that was the least favourite genre of my friends.

Travel experiences of food enthusiasts.

But for some reason, I liked it. They made me feel that I was riding with them, visiting the local food places and tasting the local cuisine. It always amazed me how we have the same ingredients used over different continents yet with different methods.

It paved a way for my creativity.

My eyes caught a green-covered book.- The Tales of Africa.

I was thinking about learning more about African cuisine anyways. I pulled out that book and began flipping its pages to see what content was given in it.

My fingers paused at a page. A folded small paper stared back at me, invoking my curiosity. I opened it to see a message written on it.

'I hope you are safe, if not happy!'

It was a printed message and not a handwritten one. Who could it be? A friend or foe?
