Floor 4, Part 2

The boys parted ways, some logging off, and Apollo going to take his class. The next day went just as Leon predicted, as the Floor Boss Dungeon was found. Therefore, the group met at the gate of the city, and slowly moved toward the direction where the dungeon was found. As they arrived, the place was crowded and they approached the gate to see the information.

~4th Floor Boss Dungeon, Skeleton Castle(B-A).

Requirements to enter the dungeon: Level 46, be part of a party, the party must contain at least 5 members.~

- What is with this last condition? 5 members? (Leon)

- And we are 1 member short... We need to find 1 more player to come with us or we're screwed. (Alexis)

As they chit-chatted, a lot of players started to whisper and looking at a certain person. It was Gilgamesh. At last, he decided to take part in a Floor Boss Dungeon.

- What the fuck is with this condition? Do I really need a party to enter? Just let me go in, you bastard game. (Gilgamesh)

He started shouting and swearing after he got in front of the gate.

- Have you heard? That guy cleared some dungeons until now all alone. (Player 1)

- Just look at his equipment. He is in a league of his own. (Player 2)

- Look at his name, it's red. I've heard he had a fight with those guys that call themselves Knights of the Round Table. (Player 3)

- I've heard that rumor too. It's said that he fought alone against 8 people and even killed 3 of them. People say that if their leader hadn't stepped in, he would've killed all of his party members. (Player 1)

- That explains why he has a red name. I wonder if there are crazy people to team up with a red-named player. (Player 2)

As the players continued to talk, Gilgamesh looked pissed at how weak they were. At that moment, he exchanged glances with Alexis.

- That player looks interesting. And the tank that's with him looks strong as well. But the other two look like they are just extras in the party. (Gilgamesh)

Gilgamesh was thinking while observing Alexis and the rest of the party.

- That guy just looked at us? Does he recognize anyone there? Maybe you Apollo? (Leon)

- Nah, I've never seen him before. (Apollo)

- He's just analyzing us. (Alexis)

- You want me to ask him to join us? Seems like most of the players are a bit wary of him. (Leon)

- Well, if we want to join the raid, we need 1 more player and he looks like needs a team as well. I'll go ask. (Alexis)

As he finished his sentence, he went towards Gilgamesh and exchanged a few words. Not long after, they returned where the rest of the party was.

- Meet our new colleague. (Alexis)

- Hello, I'm Leon. And they are Dante and Apollo. (Leon)

- Hello. I don't really need to know all your names, but this tank caught my eye. (Gilgamesh)

- Don't get cocky just because of some rumors. Be thankful that we accepted you in our party. (Dante)

- How did you get this monkey in your team? (Gilgamesh)

Gilgamesh was asking Alexis.

- Don't mind him. Has its moments. Anyway, let's prepare to enter the dungeon. (Alexis)

- I don't want to be rude, but what's your level? (Leon)

- Oh, me? I'm level 54 and my class is Swordsman. (Gilgamesh)

- I see. You've already picked your class. Just like this guy. (Leon)

Leon was speaking while pointing to Apollo.

- Someone's class or level doesn't matter. The most important thing is to have good coordination and not get in each other's way. (Alexis)

- Yes, yes, mister "let's do it perfectly". (Leon)

As they started to know each other better, the players started to gather with their parties in front of the gate and prepared to enter. As the players entered, they had already encountered lots and lots of skeletons, but they were just weaklings. Most of the skeletons were just normal ones of C-grade.

But, as they were going deeper into the dungeon, more powerful skeletons started to appear.

Every minute it seemed like things would only get more difficult.

- They aren't that bad. And they are in good sync like they were fighting together for a long time. (Gilgamesh)

He was thinking while watching more and more how his new party was fighting.

- What's going on with these skeletons? As we advance, their grade goes up. (Leon)

- Just look ahead. There are some Skeleton Knights that are even stronger. Some of them are even A-grade. (Alexis)

- I'm starting to get scared when I think what the boss will be. Will it be some S-grade bastard? (Leon)

- Doesn't matter. Let's just crack their bones. (Dante)

They advanced and advanced, some players lost their lives there, but most of them managed to get to the front of the Boss door. Just before they were going to enter the Boss Room, a player suggested everyone to take a short break and check their equipment.

- How sad I can't choose my class right now... At least I can equip the items that Orc just dropped yesterday. (Leon)

- Thanks for reminding me. I didn't paid any attention to my level. I have some gear to put on as well. Maybe the fight with the Boss will be a little bit easier. (Alexis)

As he finished talking, he got out of his inventory his new weapon and the jewelry set he obtained from the Orc dungeon yesterday.

Now that everyone was prepared, they opened the gate and entered the Boss Room. They didn't have to advance too much, and a lot of players began to feel fear.

- Is this for real? What are all those boss-grade monsters doing there? There is even a Death Knight... (Player)

A player just exclaimed after he saw what was waiting for them into the room.

~4th Floor Boss, Death Knight (A), level 61~

The players engaged in a fight with the monsters. There was a bloodbath. Many have died. Our party just engaged a Dullahan.

- This guy resembles that Orc from yesterday. (Leon)

- Yeah, but his attacks are heavier to block than those of those orcs. (Apollo)

- This one is doable, but I'm a little scared of that guy over there. His aura is totally different from all the monsters from here. (Alexis)

After some more minutes, they managed somehow to kill a Dullahan, while some other party killed the other one. Now, the only obstacle left is that, Death Knight.

~Congratulations! Your party managed to kill a Dullahan.

Your rewards are...~

- Now, what do we do with that guy? He killed already some players. (Alexis)

- If you are scared, just leave and go hunt some slimes on the first floor. (Gilgamesh)

As he told this to Alexis, started to run towards that Death Knight. Almost at the same time, Dante was running alongside him.

- Hmm... Interesting! (Gilgamesh)

- They can't be serious... (Leon)

As Leon let a sigh, he was running behind them to help them. Apollo was going with him as well.

- These guys can't be serious... What kind of team did I find? Well, I can't look like a scared cat. (Alexis)

And he joined the rest of them in the fight with the Death Knight. But no one thought this Boss would be such a challenge. Many players joined the fight, and many died in the process. Parties were switching between each other to allow other players to heal with potions, but the boss looked just stronger and stronger like he was unkillable. Along with our party, there were some players that looked interesting and fought pretty well, one to be mentioned was a team of 7, their leader being Uma, the one who found this dungeon. All of them looked pretty well equipped, maybe even better than Gilgamesh, and they were pretty well coordinated, fighting almost all the time against this Death Knight. After a long and tiring fight, somehow, they managed to kill the Death Knight, but with a huge cost.

The total players that survived this raid were only 19: our 5 guys (Gilgamesh, Alexis, Apollo, Leon, Dante), Uma and some of his teammates (Drakon, Hanho, Leoxses, Artemit, Marcus), a guy named Heart and 2 of his colleagues (Edward and Diardu), Slaber with two members (Oberon and Morgen) and a huge guy named Hercules and his last teammate who survived, Thunderclaw. It's important to remember the names of these party leaders because they will be in the future some of the leaders of the strongest guilds in the game. As they killed the Death Knight, a new notification appeared.

~Congratulations. Thanks to a brave group of players, Death Knight, the Boss of the 4th Floor has been killed. Their achievement will be recorded in the Hall of Fame.~

~From now on, players can advance to the 5th Floor through the staircase of the 4th Floor Boss Dungeon. From now on, on the 5th Floor, players can create guilds alongside their teammates or friends.~

This achievement was a huge one. Not only being able to advance to the next floor, but now, after 3 months of playing, players can finally create a guild. The next notification then appeared for the players who survived the Floor Boss.

~Congratulations on beating 4th Floor Boss. Your reward is: 5 gold coins, Exp..., 20 pieces of Black Iron(B), Death Knight Ring(A).~

- Hey, I got an A-grade ring! (Leon)

- Me too. I think everyone who is standing here after this fight got one. (Alexis)
