Mahiru's sudden outburst took Kurina aback by surprise as well. She had never seen the younger female behave like this before and wondered if even Ashura had seen this side of hers.
On the other hand, Alex looked relieved, and his expression was also knowing. He had not only known about Mahiru but had expected her to show her authentic self.
'Since when did the two of them get this close? I was with Alex all the time and I did not even notice this. Wait! Am I jealous right now? There is no way, right?'
Kurina felt shocked once she took note of her emotions. She wanted to deny that she was jealous. But the rage flowing through her body combined with the urge to smack Mahiru certainly indicated that Kurina was jealous.
