Rivyn stood alone in the great, white expanse that stretched to infinity in every direction; space engulfed him and seemed so sterile, endless. The brilliant, white light illuminating the area was disorienting in a way that made one question where the ground ended and the sky began or vice versa. It truly was a place unlike he had ever been before-void of any landmark or feature in nature by which to know your direction or place within, an artificial dimension wherein challengers faced unyielding waves of enemies with nobody else in existence. It was right here that Rivyn arrived, intending to face the fierce manticore wave-the toughest of trials that would push his endurance, his skill, and his adaptability to limits he could never have imagined.
