THE TOURNAMENT OF KINGS

THE ENCOUNTER

Long long ago there was once a princess so beautiful that any man to look at her would be Beheaded. As she was one hundred times more beautiful than a white rose, all the men were peasants and the royal men were the ones who disgusted her. The king decided that if all the men in his kingdom weren't worthy of his daughter's hand he would send messengers to the far kingdoms all around the world. The message read: "All thy dares to have the princess's hand in marriage shall need to fight in the tournament of kings." Brave fighters and soldiers from all over the world came 2 days before the tournament so they could prepare to fight for her hand in marriage and the crown of the emperor.

However, two brothers from a now nonexistent kingdom were with their weapons for as long as they can remember as if they were part of their body. They soon arrived and crossed through the kingdom gates as they were shunned and steered clear from as they were both known all over the world as "Exiles", "Cursed Twins", and many other names. The most dangerous man to ever walk the battlefield, Kron was said to be as strong as a thousand men and was also named "The Reaper" for his merciless & heartless attitude. While his younger brother Varian was said to be like an unweaving leader and the complete opposite of Kron as he only slayed those who wished to die with honor. Varian was respected on the battlefield and was named "the judger" because of his devotion to justice. Once they entered the gates of the kingdom they attracted everyone's eyes towards them like magnets pulling metal sand.

While Varian was there for the princess's hand-in-marriage, Kron just wanted to fight and kill his boredom and ignore all flaws in the rules. They have wandered through countless countries for something that can satisfy Kron's thirst for a fight, as well as earn Varian's favor.

As they make their way into the castle to greet the king with the other warriors, kron hears some tempting things, "I will win this tournament and the princess's hand in marriage haha", "you wish I'll kill you before you try" said the warriors 1&2. As Kron and Varian walked past them, "Look it's the reaper, and the so-called judger is here", said warrior1 as if trying to start a fight, "heh I bet they're here for the princess's-hand-in-marriage, too bad no princess wants a berserk, merciless killing machine", said warrior 1&2. "It's funny that you Mormons believe that type of shit, besides if I wanted her I'd kill you all in the gates", said Kron with a wicked smile while chuckling as he passed by. Both warriors stayed quiet knowing it would be unwise to challenge such a monstrosity, meanwhile as Varian created connections with some nobles and high-ranking officers. A man with golden silver-like hair and a stern teenage face around his 20s, his Highness the Emperor Alex the 2nd showed himself on the second top floor in the middle of the entire meeting hall. "I thank all of you brave warriors and Knights for coming here today", said King Alex in a deep, confident tone. As he announced the details for the tournament, everyone present cheered as if it was the founding of a new nation. "I'll be going for a walk outside." said Kron after meeting up with Varian in the celebration, "alright but don't cause any trouble before they announce the candidates'' said Varian as he walked back inside. As soon as Varian was out of his sight Kron clicked his tongue and decided to take a stroll in the garden. In the meeting hall full of music and fearsome warriors with jolly faces enjoying their drinks and feasting, Varian looks up and sees the emperor with Queen Lillia, and someone who looks a lot like the queen with silver hair and golden eyes. She was the princess who would marry the victor of the tournament and earn the crown of emperor.

As Varian glanced at her for a bit before she looked over at him and waved at him with a sweet innocent smile on her face while Varian smiled and waved back. As the princess turns around she walks over to Emperor Alex and whispers something in his ear, the emperor nods his head and the princess lightly bows down and takes her leave, as she walks down the left side of the stairs she elegantly walks towards the garden's entrance. Varian sees the Princess leaving and walks over to the guards asking if he could have an audience with his Highness the Emperor.

When the princess enters the center of the garden, there she finds Kron laying down at the edge of the fountain staring at the night sky. She stares at him for a bit as she sits on the other side of the fountain, "why is a cutie like you here all alone? Did your fiance leave you or something?" said Kron as he chuckles a bit. "No, I just wanted some fresh air, My good sir." responded the princess with a sweet, soothing tone as if what Kron said didn't bother her in the least. "I see… I apologize for the disrespectful remark then" answered Kron in a bitter tone. as Kron gets up and walks over to the princess's side sitting next to her a few feet away. As he looks at the princess up and down as if examining her, "Hey, are you a noble of sorts? You're wearing very tailored clothes'' asked Kron out of curiosity. The princess would have wondered if she should tell Kron the truth but she sees no point in lying so she answered his question with the truth "Yes I'm Sophie daniela st. wight, the current princess of this kingdom and you are? If you don't mind me asking kind sir" Sophie would have said this with innocent in her voice but before Kron could speak a voice would come from a different room urging Kron to hurry up as they were about to announce all the people in the tournament "Sigh I'm sorry Princess I must get going but the name Kron remember it because I will be the won to win this tournament" *He said as he rushed out as soon as he went the princess spoke "I do hope that's the case sir Kron'' As Kron was sitting in front of the king along with 14 other people not including Varian that's when the king's advisor would announce the order of the tournament "Good afternoon to all who came from different lands today I would like to welcome our sixteen competitors in this tournament to win the princess's hand in Marriage. First I will list the name of everyone here let's start with Gaelin next we have Asherah next we have Sir Afro Donte there is Kraus and Lukwig all from the kingdom of Arzarz from the Kingdom of Boziac have Herenui and Aramasu from the unlock land there is Kron and Armen from the kingdom of lithium there is Lucido along with Bracien and Alvarez from the kingdom of Africa there is Simon along with Naqueem and Gekko also from the unknown lands and finally, Varian. that will be all the names now I will list the fight order it goes like this'' said the advisor as he signaled a mage to project the matches and their fighters for the preliminary matches.

"that is all. the brave souls competing, I hope you all have a wonderful time in our kingdom. a guard will show you each to your designated rooms" After the advisor finished the announcement, guards came and showed the participants to their designated rooms.
