Chapter 4: big ol brute

I was felt a cooling sensation all over my body as I slowly started to wake up. I felt so comfortable, more comfortable then I've ever felt before. Like what a man would call his true home.

I slowly opened my eyes but I kept closing them while trying to adjust the bright light. Looking around me there was massive ancient tree's like before, but these ones actually glowed with some sort of energy that was giving me the feeling of extreme comfort.

Looking below me I was laying on a small circle of huge leaves that also had this energy. Albeit it was much smaller amounts of this energy.

Remembering the scene happening before me as I blacked out I hurriedly got up and stood to try and understand my surroundings.

"Take a deep breath Dylan" I said in my head to try and calm myself. Clearly that snake saved me, I recall it called someone the lord. And that I was the lords nephew.

Putting the dots together I assumed they must be referring to the uncle my mom sent me to. So he's powerful enough to tame a creature powerful enough to neutralize a shadow panther king instantly.

While I was looking around I noticed a stone hut not far away, to be honest it reminds me of the huts the poor people lived in. I hated that my family had extreme amounts of wealth but they disdained poor people so they would never help them.

I walked towards the hut slowly, my body still tired from the stupid teleportation. As I approached the hut a man came outside of the wood door.

He had a similar face to my mom, but his body way more muscular and hairy. He was carrying a spear that could only be described as gorgeous.

Laced with gold lines and a dragon carved onto it. The dragons eyes were perfect red rubys

"So you've awoken child" the man I can only presume is my uncle said in a stoic voice
