Planning

This new and hidden creature followed for quite some time in the shadows. Slowly but surely not losing track of it's goal. This man took something precious away from it and it would have it's revenge. It followed the man until the man got to His home and went inside. Then simply took a mental note and left to go back to it's own respective lair. It now knew though where this man lived and it would have it's revenge.

"Blu I'm home." he said. He saw Blu sleeping soundly in the bed he had made for her. She was still healing but getting better everyday. Now that he had accomplished his goal of ridding himself of these problems he decided caring for Blu and waiting on her to heal completely would be his top priority and he would only leave to bring Blu food and water.

A few months passed like this and Blu was almost fully healed with the exception of her missing eye. Some animals including Blu would be able to regenerate body parts but an eye was too complex to completely heal and regenerate even after almost 3 months of healing.

Blu purred as she could finally get up without her friend constantly restraining her from doing so and she was happy to be able to move about freely again without feeling shooting pain through her ribs and head.

"I never properly thanked you Blu. Thank you so much for saving my life back there. I'd of died without you putting your life on the line." our nameless one smiled and said as he lovingly pet her head. "It's time to go do some minor walking now do you feel up to it?" Blu just Purred more at him and they proceeded to start walking more throughout the forest which seemed to almost expand and had grown several thousand kilometers over this time of Blu healing. By this time the forest even expanded towards the endless abyss he came across during his very first exploration and he brought Blu to see this abyss.

"Blu you can never go here. This abyss is the end of the world as we know it and we have no hope of crossing it anytime soon. It's a dangerous and unknown place. Even I don't go visiting this as much but it is amazing to see the forest has grown to this extent already as it nears the endless abyss."

Blu just nodded her head and walked into his hand again wanting to be pet. He gladly obliged as he brought her back into the forest for more basic exploration of the deeper parts. Our nameless one knew how fast this forest adapted now and didn't wish to become unfamiliar with his home and the new beasts it seemed to inhabit regularly.

After a week he decided his goal was to travel the length of the river and see where it took them too. His house which was positioned around the halfway point of the river and the abyss so he knew he could take Blu into the river if they came across anything truly dangerous like last time. As they traveled upriver they found nothing out of the ordinary for this extraordinary forest only some basic new animals that had adapted to better handle the muddy terrain of this river. They had webbed feet and suction cup toes along with long tails they would use for balance as they jumped, ran, and swam through the water and mud.

"Blu life sure is amazing. Constantly adapting to it's environment to better make it's escapes and to make it's hunts even quicker. This little guy here for example was able to catch small fish in the river by swimming under the mud and catching them by surprise using it's tail like a whip. What a smart little critter." He spoke in awe as he genuinely enjoyed watching processes such as these and he even felt he could always learn something new from this always adapting forest. Blu just looked at him like she always did. Her entire life revolved around this man and his care for her. She still socialized with her own race and other beasts but she always returned to wander the woods with the nameless one hoping to forever stay by his side.

As all of this was happening a creature watched from the shadows. Biding it's time and training with a bamboo like pole it had taken. This creature was the most intelligent beast this forest had produced to date. It had constantly gathered other black and purple furred beasts and trained them as well using the fight it's parent and this disgusting human had. It was the most patient beast of it's race. It knew what would happen if they made a mistake as it would cost all of there lives if the enraged this human and it took vengeance on them all.

It slowly withdrew into the deeper part of the woods. smiling grimly this creature knew it's time was coming soon.

"Kill. Soon." it spoke.

Our nameless one was still none the wiser to this beast planning his demise as he truly didn't believe anything existed that was capable of planning something vicious against him or Blu with the exception of the black and purple furred beast. It was hunt or be hunted in this forest but most predators had understood this Human had an air of absolute danger surrounding him and wouldn't recklessly pick a fight for that reason. Our nameless one was a fairly kind human not purposely attacking anything he didn't require and never wasting the forests natural resources so most animals of this forest respected his presence. The one exception was the grudge this offspring of the black and purple furred beast held towards it. This grudge was deepening and he was unknowingly nearing his first life threatening event with something sentient since coming to this world.

However he was always training now that he knew his life could easily be taken by something in this world and our nameless one didn't want to be taken by surprise again by the power of the unknown. The nameless one had grown more muscular and even leaner as his muscles grew and adapted to wielding this heavy halberd daily constantly training himself and using it to hone his body with the goal to never let Blu get injured by his incompetence again.

"Common Blu we have traveled enough today. Let's set up a camp and sleep by the river. We will get started first thing in the morning". Our nameless one spoke, after he completed a simple training session. He was exhausted after training and traveling upriver all day. Deciding to set up camp was the safest plan he decided and slowly drifted off to Dreamland with Blu by his side.
